Okay /biz/ I thought it would be interesting to have a thought exercise on market manipulation.

Pretend you have 100 million dollars to spend, and you want to crash the price of BTC. What method would you take to dump BTC?

Look for natural dipping patterns and have various of my media outlets say it's going to crash through the floor at that point. The uncertainty will trigger more people to expect it to go lower when it does dip.

I don't think BTC is going far below 3k this time around though.

depends on your own ideals and ambition, but if you could use that 100 million to eventually gain billions of dollars of wealth you could eventually reach a point where you have the resources to do some pretty insane shit
i'm talking funding R&D of new technology or something that will help move humanity forward as a whole
