I am using the DRIP calculator, but I can't find ANY dividend stocks that out performed SPY since 2009. Not KO, XOM, BAC. MCD basically tied. It seems that the entire market has only grown due to obscene tech stock valuations of MSFT, AAPL, and AMZN. If you take away these 3 companies, its almost like we had no growth. Have you tried coldbrew? It's not too hard and usually much nicer than a drip because it doesn't usually get weird flavors that are in lower quality beans. The difficult part is straining it because it doesn't always filter too well. Search it up, just throw grounds into water and leave it out for 12-18 hours. strain and refrigerate what's leftover. you can make it concentrated too. If you like it sweet, you'll need it dissolved into hot water beforehand or you'll need to make a syrup.

coffee is exactly like nofap

sure you could drink 1 coffee every other day

but the moment you stop drinking it in moderation and make it a daily thing YOURE FUCKED.

youre going to get a huge migraine

same thing if you fap once every day you will feel horrible

but anyone could drink a coffee here and there during the week

anyone could fap "sometimes" like if you skip a day

but you cant just keep doing something it doesnt work

only tea has a very minimal impact on the body

Chinese bioscience changed the formula all up for this one, and it's still very early in the summer. Also if police are like any other business right now they're probably running on reduced staffing.
I could see things getting heated in nearby cities like Chicago soon. I don't think it will spread everywhere, most cities just don't have the proper population levels of diversity to support such a thing.

Probably neutral. Buildings and merchandise is insured, plus one or two franchises would have little to no impact on a company bottom line. I feel bad for the people who's jobs burned down tho.

Civil unrest was inevitable given people being stuck at home for months, Only $1200 (that you may or may not have gotten), no job / money (except unemployment, which many don't get for variety of reasons), and lets throw in Ferguson 2.0. My county is re-opening Friday, but it wont stop the bankruptcies, foreclosures, and unhappy people in the months to come. People will see SPX 4000 on the news but have no money, no job, no chance of a job (Look at the most recent CBO report. Laid off because corona? 40% of layoffs expected to be permanent!), and be pretty pissed that wealthy people are in their own world while the government "thinks" about giving people extra stimulus money.

I get a feeling they might put through that $2000/mo ubi-lite program just to buy time and keep the schleps from totally wigging out. Joggers rioting is one thing but anger the other classes, and politicians will be getting strung up poles instead of $9.99 lingerie from target.

>The labor force participation rate dropped from 62.7% in March to 60.2% in April. The current unemployment rate as of May 8th was 14.7%, but adjusted for the decline in the labor participation rate, stands closer to over 20%. Even if half the amount added (unemployment was at 3.5% in February) is temporary, the unemployment rate will still remain over 10% post-reopening. This could correlate to a roughly $1 trillion loss in labor income.
>The US Chamber of Commerce reported that more than one in five small businesses (22%) said they were two months or less from closing permanently as of May 5th. Only 9% of small businesses surveyed had received PPP loan funding. Small businesses account for nearly half of all employment in the US.
>The AARP reported that 53% of American households have no emergency savings. Correspondingly, the personal saving rate increased from 8% in February to 13% in March. Note that consumer spending accounts for 70% of US GDP. M2 velocity continues to decrease.
>US GDP is expected to drop at a 40% annual rate in Q2 and relies heavily on a sharp rebound in consumer sentiment and demand to propel a recovery. Retail sales in China remain near -15% YoY following their reopening. Retail sales data for Germany will be reported this Friday. Total debt to GDP is expected to top 140% this year.
>Bond yields remain at historic lows, with the 2Y and 3Y gilts going negative for the first time in history. The BoE has opened up to the idea of negative rates, though latest FOMC minutes indicate discussion at the Fed regarding negative rates remains in the "no" camp. Real yields on longer-dated US treasuries are negative.
>DXY continues to trend higher. A stronger dollar can result in a similar effect as does a tightening of monetary policy. Core commodity indices remain near 20Y lows, and have only slightly rebounded before topping out and reversing again. In April, CPI saw its largest monthly decline since December 2008.

Coffee isn't enough. I drink 2 C4 energy drinks a day, 400mg of caffeine. Not numb, I just enjoy caffeine and jacking off. If anything, I'm irrationally sure my personal future is going to be "ok" and that I can actually accomplish everything I set out to do. Meditation helps. Digging deep into yourself and finding out why you're depressed helps even more. You need to uncover your personal traumas and work through them, but it takes time and not everyone is equipped to figure it out solo.

Trump and most of congress have been totally reactionary to this whole COVID-19 event. Until they literally *cannot* ignore the problem anymore, they won't do anything. Even the FED is saying now that we need either more stimulus or negative rates, or this whole thing is going to implode. Bailing out the asset-holder classes makes stonks go up but doesn't actually help the economy- the people with the highest velocity of money (Pretty much anyone < $50k a year) are tapped out.
Worst case scenario, they don't try to kickstart consumer spending until the bankruptcies / foreclosures start to hit, and we get depression 2.0. Enjoy getting to compete with 65+ and 22 year olds alike for entry level STEM jobs, and burger flippers with PHDs.

thats your imagination that caffeine and having an orgasm arent effecting your body chemistry whatsoever

why?

because some people just cant tell theyre not in tune with how their body works theyve always lived the same way and never thought about it

they dont know what food will make them feel different they just think all food is the same

they dont know that carbs will make you crash

most people have no reason to find out what the chemistry in their body is doing and arent aware so they make up some bullshit like you just did thinking you can "dive in deep with meditation"

It's stressful, it's stupid, and if you fail, makes you feel worthless. You just have to come to terms that real success is built out of baby steps, and that short burst of insane effort is meant for emergencies and putting a cherry on top- not making the whole cake. I'm not totally over this, but I'm aware of it now and can identify when I start behaving that way. Given enough time, you can re-train yourself and become a better, more successful you. Dumb self help stuff maybe, but does wonders for my morale.

NIO isn't going nowhere. Although it looks like a sophisticated company, they don't even build their own cars.
They are riding on IP and Government founding.
Goverment can cut their funding anytime and you are buying a chinese stock, goverment interference is very dangerous for the western investor.
IP is worth jack shit in China since they steal IP all the time and given that they don't even build their own cars, nothing is stopping the builder of coming up with it's own brand.

NIO has potencial, but beeing chinese is a big CON.
It's even worse when Musk must be doing BJs to winnie the pooh to get the same funding and expand a lot in China effectively saving Tesla during the corona.
That means NIO can't even be number 1 in their own country!

It's no a good investment and 4$ is pretty much the max. It didn't moon with the Hefei funding... Has no traction. I got out after that.

Jack definitely messed up with that one, I don't know what he was thinking was going to happen. First thing Trump does is talk to his lawyers, oh course it's going to bite twitter in the ass.

Things like this reinforce my believe that Jack is sort of a smart but bumbling dude who really is trying to be a good person. Compared to other big tech company execs who communicate less but come off more like evil masterminds and schemers.

I think some good comes out of the whole thing, if we get a law or ExecOrd in place that clearly states that online platforms can't "massage" their content the way they have been. But it can be tough to write such a law because of the way some of these sites work

hopefully we're moving towards a future situation like the one mentioned in this post >>19384186

I think that overall this controversy is a really healthy thing for the American internet because now the government is thinking more actively about ways to legislate this.
It's at least a healthy opportunity. Of course there is a very good chance that the federal government completely fumbles it or makes a law that doesn't make sense.

Some of the credit for making this opportunity (I think) has to do with who Jack is and who twitter is, as opposed to Facebook/Google/Amazon.
Facebook/Google/Amazon hire an unbelievable amount of lawyers to go over everything that they do with a fine-toothed comb (in terms of platform actions and tax stuff) to be sure that they stay just inside the law. Jack and twitter are just shooting from the hip, they make a decision and say "well, this feels right to us now, hope it works". Sometimes it doesn't go so well, but it just feels much more genuine to me than the completely clinical and judicial way that other big tech companies operate.

hope it makes sense ;)

>Twitter is a private company
If they only publish what they want, they become publishers and not a social platform and has such will be liable for what people post on their site.
For example. Someone post a defamatory regard, such has "Trump is a faggot." Twitter can now be sued for it. Because even though is was posted by an user, they published it.

Except it has «social» in the name, thus are linked to society. That’s not the purpose of a random dude to publicly state himself up the US CEO.
Twitter, and other social media will have to create a «special» status for public VIPs.

>This is the BIG stretch here since currently that would mean nearly any moderation at all outside deleting the message would classify as "speaking on behalf of another". The section is poorly worded and more likely to fold than anything.

I’m not stretching. These companies have no business being protected by Congress. They are either publishers or platforms. They want to drink from both fountains and remain accountable to no one.

What?
>Twitter, and other social media will have to create a «special» status for public VIPs.
What constitutes a public VIP? Is it based on official title or "social media follower" count?

The legal precedent will be with print newspapers. And no, they technically are but its absolutely rare when it happens. Libel lawsuit fees are what browbeat newspapers, not the libel suit cases.
And here is the easier solution that would be a lose-lose for EVERYONE. Make all social media platforms require subscription fees. Then they do become online newspapers with editorial staff.

Here is my prediction. Trump will give up when inevitably the counter will be that if he wants special status as a person of record then he cannot delete, hide, or request edits of anyone that replies to his tweets. That becomes the far heavier first amendment argument.
Trump wants a SAFE space, not a FREE space.
