Basically he is showing a chart from the US debt/inflation calculator from November and it has gone up considerably. Whats most alarming is that since that time silver and gold to usd has tripled which entails a big increase in money supply.

>> No.19377186

>>19377087
It's a comparison of how many dollars exist in circulation vs how many ounces of gold or silver.

they think this has something to do with the value of gold or silver. Like when there's more dollars in circulation gold and silver will magically become worth more dollars.

this is somewhat true because of simple inflation- more dollars in circulation will cause ALL commodities and services to be worth more dollars, assuming the extra dollars aren't being sponged up by increases in commerce or hoarding.

but the most common error here is not recognizing that the dollar value of metals is actually set by demand. /pmg/ likes to imagine a world where precious metals will increase to incredible highs because they become NECESSARY to replace fiat. And they like to imagine that increasing the supply of fiat will be the cause of this. Such a scenario is virtually impossible, but they love to hope.

>> No.19377206

US and for that matter almost every country in the world is in waist deep of shitty debt. We buy and sell products based mainly on credit or other stuff like assets and loans. Sometimes backroom deals of invading countries for material interests. What compounds our debt is stuff the government does like print out more money and thus our debt rises or keeping military bases around the world and paying soldiers, contractors etc monthly wages and yadda yadda. We're constantly spending money to make money and in the gubmints case they were shitting the bed with the federal budget since who knows when.

I'm not an economist so you'll get some sperg nitpicking, but essentially the feds were printing more money into the economy to keep our heads above water during this recession. That's why Trump wanted the US to open back up and start stimulating the economy.

Some /k/ advice about stocking up on barter goods in a tits up economy would be stuff like lighters, batteries, med supplies, bullets, tools, knives etc. But something that comes in handy is skills. Distillers were pretty much viable before all this craziness. Moonshiners make some money and people love to get fucked up. Another skill would be growing, curing and rolling tobacco.

It's because no one speak about it on pmg, yall are too occupied to instagram whoring your stack instead of paying attention to the news.

Let me give you the QRD: last week we got the biggest quantity of paper silver injected on the COMEX since it's existence : 23 millions oz of paper, in a single week. Most of it was coming from JPMorgan.
For the whole month it was 55 millions oz added on the market, once again a historic record.

Jews are getting absolutely desperate trying to suppress silver price lately. They saw the V shape recovery and got spooped it was finally the time silver was breaking free, and they don't want this to happen for now. Reminder a client from Scotiabank, the OLDEST metal trader still in activity in the world, and one of the 4 majors shorters on the COMEX, requiring delivery last month almost killed the bank and they had to shut down definitely their metal department. Only 3 left to go, and once JPMorgan is the only one left, they will unleash the wrath of God and silver will experience the mother of all bullrun in the history of bullruns.

You are spouting total nonsense you trisomics. It's not what >>19375516 this number represent, it have nothing to do with the dollar. It's the ratio of physical silver/gold backing paper SLV/GLD on the COMEX. That's why it just jumped, cf my paragraph just above.

For example the current paper to physical ratio for silver is now 177:1. The spot price on the COMEX is 17.27.
177x17.27=3,074. here you have your ratio. Last month it was at 173 paper oz / physical existing with a spot @16 = $2,760 per oz.

Basically it's just the real price of silver and gold if the paper metal traded was backed 1:1, as it is legally supposed to be.

If anything it's extremely bullish for silver. Daily reminder JPMorgan don't hold any physical silver, they PURCHASED physical silver on behalf of one of their clients and delivered it to them, but we don't know who it is (though imo to me it's pretty clear it can only be the US gubment).

Its really small, but heavier than it looks. A small ounce costs 1.7k but its just a useless little yellow coin. probably cherry picking because their paper to silver ratio is far lower than yours so you're clearly using different sources and/or methodology than they are.

anyways, go to usdebtclock.org on a PC. Hover your mouse over the number you're interested in. At the top of the page where the title used to be it will now read the methodology and sources they used to get the number.

Depends on what youre buying. Monumentmetals has 1oz Argor bars for 1785. I'm not sure what their shipping policy is. If you are getting fractional stuff then the 1/10 gold kookaburras are the best atm just shop around. 1/4 is tough there's a lot of competition.

You could rig up a rock box or similar device as seen here minus the water wheel. Such tools are very simple to build from wood, all the fittings can be acquired for under $25, the only expensive thing will be your "miners moss".
I.- Gozarán de curso legal por el equivalente en pesos de su cotización diaria;
II.- No tendrán valor nominal;

in english: Libertad coins have full debt liberation power at international market rate of the metal here in tacoland and have to be accepted as such by all banks. They do not have a denomination, so no wiseass can say they only liberate 1 USD, 1.5 Euro, 5 CAD or some other stupid number that will not mean much during a hyperinflation...

And they are cheaper (yesterday´s price was 21,29USD), the other bullion coins are treated like some super numismatic stuff and have constant ridiculous (>100%) premiums if you can get them that is. The PMG market here is really lacking.

Talking bout interesting laws... AGEs by US law are considered numismatic..... during the gold prohibition in the USA numismatic coins were exempt.... makes you think....I dont live in the US though

It's not his personal gold, that volume of gold keeps getting transferred around. I don't care what it means for the future price of PM, I care that:
1) That much metal actually exists
2) It likely belongs to some very rich, very bad people.

Point 1 is fascinating because it means that either the elite were basically looting literal fuck tons of gold out of dig sites and keeping it off the books, OR they have access to some kind of scifi-alchemy-bullshit technology to produce stable, elemental gold. Both are pretty damn crazy. Where do you think they got it?

ghost town saloon tokens from the 1800's-early 1900's

they're worth more than gold and silver and people usually just threw them in the trash. So they're fairly common and quite valuable. Some of them are worth thousands of dollars. Most are worth hundreds.

>>19382475
not really. You can register at tokencatalog.com and see what they've sold for in the past but the prices are extremely volatile and based on how many people like me find. A token might be worth $800 because there's only one out there and then I dig up a second one and the price drops to $200. I've crashed token markets for entire ghost towns before just with one week of detecting. But I also find tokens nobody has ever seen before and those are worth quite a lot. But ultimately they're just worth whatever someone on ebay will pay for them. Usually $200-$2000 depending on rarity and interest.

A conservative estimate of value would be about $50k US for the contents at auction. But it looks like trash and I doubt any burglar would give it a second glance.
