I have a callback for a job at apple. It's the 3rd primarily technical interview.
I have a real vibe it's a shit job. Talking to one of the engineers during the 2nd interview I got the impression it's very toxic to work there. At this point I was hoping I wouldn't get called back for another interview.

Most of these people just run a for-loop over several algorithms and several parameter settings and call it a day. (There is a small subset of these people that do important, difficult work, emphasis on small). Good software devs will be essential for the forseeable future. Any good software dev can do the work of a data scientist
