Graduate with a useful undergrad major (STEM or business) in the US and you're looking at ~$60k/yr starting. Mix in above average salaries, gloating, and 5 or so years of experience and you're easily looking at $100k/yr. Which at US tax rates ends up being like $75k/yr.

Also note that an autistic comp sci grad (i.e. large 4chan demo) starts at $100k/yr in Silicon Valley easily.

Florida isn't a cheap state but its also a right to work state, so wages tend to stay about middle of the pack when it comes to wages. And it's probably not the best time to ask for a raise since things are pretty slow right now, overall down about 28% at my branch.

I hadn't considered the pandemic but when it's all over and we return to somewhat normal lives you should ask for a raise. do you get yearly raises? are they at least giving you a yearly 1-2% bump? Idk man it's a nice living but 53k for manager with nearly 10 years of experience seems low

it feels icky anon

>> No.19341125

Yeah, yearly i get a 1% raise plus up to another 3% depending on performance. Last year i got 16k in bonuses plus the 4% raise but thats been my best year. I probably would be making more if i had a buisness management degree. But unfortunately i didn't finish college so i started pretty low on the pay range. If i remember correctly i started in 2012 at around 39-40k, wich i didn't think was bad for a 23 year old who was managing a small cash advance place. But your probably right and i should ask for a raise since I've never asked before
