Coinmarketcap is awful for this. Coins usually get listed on Coingecko before Coinmarketcap

this, cmc takes a while to verify which coins get listed on their site, which is actually a service to you because this means not every pnd scam gets listed

but this also means it is not the best for finding about new bleeding edge cryptos
