Some of these XRP threads get heated for no reason.
I held some XRP in 2016 and then again earlier this year but mostly swing trade.
So basically, Ripple Labs would offer an IPO with XRP/RippleNet being their product so to say?

So it really does strike me that the price has been suppressed somehow someway for away, especially when R3 is saying they need, not want, but need the price of XRP higher.

The main conspiracies for the low price are:
Held low for enterprise xrp users to acquire and or test systems with, also to limit volatility to show ripple nets capability to its fullest. For example if a bank was testing it and the price was leaping around before, during and after the test it wouldn’t look that great.

The other conspiracy is it’s being held low to keep xrp under the radar, to create the exact fud that it does to keep normies out of it.

Of course it could just be because of a high af cap mixed with lack of use needed to jack the price. I definately do think it’s suppressed though, all the news and big volume increases have zero affect on the price. Even xrp fudders find this weird.

Yea Ripple would IPO and all their valuation is from XRP and techs powered by XRP. People have said that the higher XRP is the better that is for Ripple's IPO, but I don't know if that's necessarily true. As for theories. I personally think that major movement won't be seen until the escrow only holds like 20-15% of the total supply.
