I dont understand the Nano hate. Why do people hate it so much? From everything I have read is it one of the most advanced coins in the context of a viable online currency. Any cases against it?

It is kind of like an IQ test. If you follow the advice of others, and in this space advice is usually given for the purpose of gains, not out of the sake of being genuine, then you are meat for those that look to take advantage of you. Sadly, this is the majority of people. 4chan has a bit better of a crowd, or at least it used to, but this flaw in human programming is pervasive and likely is genetic, being linked to tribalism and communal survival instincts. Therefore, those who partake in projects that require independent research and a conclusion to be drawn outside of social pressures are always going to be the minority. At least as far as the beginning goes. As crypto gains rely on a ponzi type effect, and exponential growth as more get involved, those who are subject to the influence of others will almost always be the last to join the party. Ergo, projects such as Nano will remain esoteric to the majority, at least until the majority itself realizes, one way or another, that this is what they have been looking for.

The same reason many of us ignored BTC until 2016 or later.
