Checking the U.S debt clock should give you and idea about the price of both but remember silver is undervalued because of its "paradigm shift" silver has surpassed gold 7 times so far since the beginning of history with this soon possibly becoming the 8th after deflation well welcome massive inflation and to protect main assets use gold but for other things silvers pretty good.
