Aragon Court (ANJ) is a real sleeper. With an approx. $1 million market cap, ANJ could be a 10x or 20x. Backers include Tim Draper (BILLIONAIRE, VC) and Brian Armstrong (BILLIONAIRE, COINBASE CEO & FOUNDER).

I am very very bullish. Could be the next LINK or SNX.

I would have held through the price drop if it weren't for the fact you have to pay eth to progress through each term. Just slowly dwindling away your eth for nothing...

>Aragon Court handles subjective disputes that require the judgment of human jurors. These jurors stake a token called ANJ which allows them to be drafted into juries and earn fees for successfully adjudicating disputes.

wow great idea. i sure want complex contractual disputes arbitrated by mentally retarded NEETs and third world street shitters. where do i sign up?

>> No.19186666

>>19186204
It will pump when the utility becomes recognized, and people realize you have to hold 10,000 ANJ just to be a juror. Furthermore, as far as I understand it, being juror is incentivized with payout in DAO. There is also a payout in ANJ if you side with the plurality, which should be easy if you properly read the appeal to the jury. You also get paid out in ANJ just for being part of the active juror pool even if you aren’t selected.

>> No.19187073

>>19186879
When two parties agree to adjudication by any court, the findings are legally binding. You could try to dispute the finding in a regular court, but that could be hard if the two parties are from the same jurisdiction. That would require an international court. The real test in this sense would be, if the international courts uphold the ruling, precedence will be set for future cases. Meaning the first case to be disputed will be the most important.

Isn’t weighing the risk reward the whole point of being an early adopter of something? The current risk is low due to the cheap price, but the reward would be high if an international court found the ruling binding. People said the same thing about bitcoin in the beginning.

I looked it up on the website and it's just a coordination game. You win if you vote for the plurality option. It seems there's no real incentive to vote "properly" other than preserving the reputation of the platform. So it should be optimal for jurors to "collude" by picking the option that stands out the most. Maybe a convention to always pick the first option could be established.

I don't think jurors know who the other jurors on a case are, so it's difficult to collude if the network is large enough
