Every time there's a thread that vaguely touches on credit building I see a lot of questions go unanswered; I think a lot of people are in the dark about this stuff. Post credit building tips and "rules" for noobs.

My question is why would anyone take out a payday load at 30,000% APR when credit cards by comparison give you much more for a lot less? never taken out credit before, but I know its useful if you want to pay for a holiday and have extra insurance on your purchase.
