So even though not all those derivatives are or even can be redeemed, the network has to be valuable enough to reflect at least the insurance value of all those puts, calls, options, and cdos and shit. Which is massive, maybe as much as 1% of the nominal value. That's still 18 trillion dollar marketcap, or 18k per LINK fully diluted. And none of thats accounting for the fact that if you make an asset safer and cheaper to use, you get more of it.
