Sierrachart has two versions but the cheaper less feature rich one comes free with an Amp account. I haven't found anything it can't do for me but if you are into some really esoteric stuff the pay version is still pretty cheap. If you look at the https://www.ampfutures.com/ home page it claims a $25 account minimum but in their FAQ elsewhere it says $500. So $500 is the definite minimum but you might get away with less. The approval took me just a couple of days then funding the account can be done via personal check or wire. I'm pretty happy and for day trading futures is premium tier. Really in my experience nothing comes even close. 24/5 trading, no pattern day trader rule, huge liquidity, much better tax treatment versus trading stocks. You might know all that but it bears repeating

I really just had it to play around with and couldn't justify the cost since I'd end up going months without using it if I was busy with work. Awesome man, glad something positive comes out of /smg/ sometimes. From what you're saying it sounds like Amp is right up your alley. I've never had any surprise fees or inactivity fees or whatever and so far no problems pulling any money out. They just wire withdrawals to my bank account and it shows up the next day. If you look on elitetrader Amp is a semi-regular poster and they answer a lot of off-the-cuff questions that aren't in the FAQ. I probably sound like I'm shilling but I'm just very happy with what they offer. I mean, compare the micro commissions, TDAmeritrade charges like 2 bucks so you start multiple ticks in the hole, with Amp you're in profit the next tick up. Can't beat that
