depending on your field u might be able to pass with an associates and some certifications

get a job at a warehouse or something. work sucks but you can make more than double what your making. I was making $18 with non mandatory OT at 19. the work sucked but the checks are insane especially for your age

that's all. i mean if you only make $8 an hour and are 18 then you're not going to be putting much money away, but it's better to start early instead of wasting it. at the same time you only live once so don't squirrel all your money away for a rainy day. have some fun too. i'd recommend not putting more than 20% of your investment money into crypto. put 60% of it into blue chip stocks and funds (not the penny stock pump and dumps that get shilled here) and 20% into precious metals. good luck mate.

If you want to try to get rich on essentially gambling, take /biz/ advice and pick your favorite crypto.

As for resources for traditional financial literacy advice TwoCents on YouTube is a great channel.

Watch CoffeeZilla to learn what to avoid in terms of get rich quick scams and shit like that.

If you want, get into a trade or if you do the college route, always always go to a community college, get good grades, and scholarship your way through a four year school.

Save that $700 or put it into a super super solid investment if you don't need the money immediately. Build that cash pile. Don't try to get rich quick and easy. If you're trying to become a billionaire (you won't) take big risks. If you're trying to live comfortably or have even a few million by 50, you certainly can just with a steady job and sound investments.

One very important piece of advice is recognize your own agency. If you want to go start a business or some other shit and you have the financial safety net to do it, go for it. If you want to do literally anything, you absolutely can.

Talk to people. In this day and age you have the ability to communicate with nearly anyone you want to instantly. Talk to them, ask for advice and help. Most people will help you or at worst, just not respond at all. It's as easy as posting onto 4chan.
