Isn't the halving imminent? Shouldn't it be mooning now? What the fuck? Something feels off...

Bros this is seriously uncool, everyone's split on whether btc crashes or pumps. I don't have a clue as what i should do at this point, just waiting on the sidelines right now.
All I know is that bsv must fulfill the prophecy and rise from the ashes like a phoenix

This is a good thing. If it was pumping now that would most likely mean that as soon as the halving happened there'd be a huge dump.

>> No.19006742

There is nothing special about any of the individual halvenings.

What really matters is the exponential decline on bitcoin mined after multiple halvenings

>> No.19006748

>>19006718
But it did pump leading up to this. It had a $1000 gain in one day recently. Historically, that has been followed by a 38% dump every time...and the fact that we are stalling now makes me think the dump is imminent...

Historically, Bitcoin takes a massive dump right after the halvening, and after about 12-18 months it reaches ATH.

literally no. try waiting a year then check the price you high time preference, fried dopamine-receptor zoomer

Bitcoin is a safe thing that is still in its early stages, like Internet in the 1990s. Right now it is still massively undervalued, which means it’s still easy for a few whales to control the price action to a fairly large degree. That doesn’t invalidate Bitcoin, it will be less easily manipulated the bigger and smarter the money that enters it, and that’s the current trajectory (real money stepping in). But right now, the perspective that seems to make the most sense to me is that a bunch of whales who hold a lot of btc can bounce the price up and down in quite major ways and use that to make money writing derivatives and liquidating their counters.
