Recommend me a good super fund. Self employed. Want to salary sacrifice as much as I can into a super fund. Will be starting this fund from scratch, so don't think it will be feasible to DIY for a few years yet.

OP here
I'm at a high tax bracket. If I dump $25k into a super fund each year, thge tax on this money will only be 15% instead of the current kike gouging I am now paying.
I don't think it is feasible to set up a diy fund if I just have 25k to start with. I'm thinking of going with an established fund until the balance gets to 100k and then setting up a diy fund.

My question is - which fund should get my shekels for the next few years?

Why would you pay to have someone hold your money?
Supers are a huge government forced scam is australia.
I checked how much interest i earned on my super one year and found they literally charged the amount of interest i had earned as 'fees'.

My SMSF costs about $1,200 per year for compliance.

Compliance is pretty easy, you just give 1 years bank statements and trading account statements containing transactions and balances to your accountant.

Also if your business has a physical location you can put the building into your SMSF and lease it back to your business.

Well to start you can just buy some crypto and gold maybe.
I buy btc from here https://www.independentreserve.com/
gold and silver I own at the perth mint.
interactive brokers is good for trading options if your into that.
if you want to have your cash work harder private real estate loans from here can be good. I'm getting 6.7% on my money from investing in loans from here https://www.balmainprivate.com.au/

It's meh. Just a typical /biz/ discord p&d (good of you got in the other day, wouldn't bother now probably). There's going to be tons of staking pools. Anyone can set up a bunch of nodes & add a smart contract to hold the funds of users & distribute them. I'm expecting platforms like MakerDAO or Compound or Aave etc will probably add staking features too, on top of their existing offerings. Would make sense, you can still stake your Eth, but also use it as collateral for other things.

Basically you just treat them like gold or a foreign currency and pay capital gains. You buy from a bank account in your SMSF's name and the SMSF has legal title to the coins etc.

Thanks for the info/analysis on staking pools, I'll keep an eye out for them and add good ones to my defi portfolio. Enjoy gains fine sir
