BTC dropping 15% last night was just an indicator for worse to come. Looks like we just passed return to "normal"

So Monday will suck then huh

That'd be my guess. But it is a clown world, so I'm about 63% sure.

you have it completely wrong, OP.

There is too much money waiting on the sidelines, everyone is waiting to buy the dip but it's too crowded.

- The short sellers who need to cover
- Those who already took profits and want to buy back cheaper
- Those who want to enter after a post-halving selloff

8500 USD is holding strong - you can consider this the bottom.

The real profits will be in alts though going forward, e.g. XMR, ZEC, BAT, ETH, ...

Cheers

Cheers, but what is your opinion on that 3500 CME gap? Sounds like a meme, but gaps getting filled occurs ~90% of the time

>> No.19001102

Gaps get filled often because most assets trade in a range - so gaps get filled accidentally. Some people also strongly believe that gaps get filled, making it potentially a self-fulfilling prophecy. But their nimber is so low that their budgets do not matter very much.

So, forget about gaps, is what I recommend.

maybe you are the clown hmm?

This. I don't think it's going to either dump or moon - everything is priced in.

Perhaps... but my point still stands, people are returnin to 'normal' when things are definitely not 'normal', economically, but I know Trump will print whatever it takes to get reelected.

it was a one time thing, we will have another seven straight weeks of buying

people will line up around street corners just like at the grocery store to buy bitcoin

it will make headlines at 20k, "bitcoin brr bleh, its not gonna go down this time! Maybe there is such thing as a free lunch!"

>> No.19001644

lol, you are right, the current halvening date was knows since 2009 and should _definitely_ be priced in.

There was the corona dump before though and also the current crisis benefits no asset class as much as crypto.

So, crypto prices have still room to run, and it's the ideal economic setup for crypto.
