we are now in a fed printing induced dead cat bounce, the market should crash but not yet, its probable for this fall/winter
so the correct strategy to use here would be to determine the amount you are willing to gamble beforehand, say your 9000, then divide by 12 and buy options with a 1 month duration at the start of the month and midway in the month and roll them over for about 6 months
then you are pretty much set to profit from an inevitable crash, however you are still gambling
options are better used in a much larger strategy for instance during the last crash in feb, almost every asset class crash even the safe harbour ones and reversed etf's underperformed so to counter a dump if your holding gold/btc/realestate you take out some options so you'll have net profit
