Stop federal subsidies completely and stop federally backing any and all student loans. Let banks and other free market institutions take care of providing loans and allow these loans to be discharged through bankruptcy and we'll see prices drop exponentially. I'm about to finish up my first year of college that I got for free because I'm still technically a high school student about to graduate (18yo calm down).
