As something you should know, most of the gold you will be finding will be very small particles, however there have been cases where these particles were surprisingly concentrated, do lots of research about your local areas geology, look up gold rushes near by. work from there.

best year hand mining was 70 ounces. I hit a wide crack on bedrock in an ancient high channel and worked it for the whole season. Really really nice gold.

Best day of panning was on McDame Creek sniping on bedrock, I got I think just over an ounce in 40 minutes.

My last season was basically a failure in my opinion, I couldnt properly work, water was too high and I couldn't access my claims until half way through the season. I still got about 20 ounces though for my troubles.

I am aware that you're typically finding specs at a time. I have people friends who asked if they could set up a small smelting area at my property with whatever copper I had & they had just to smelt for eventual SHFT or when copper spikes again.

Do you smelt/process your own gold?
With that said its one step at a time here, like getting the equipment & getting out there & doing it.
But yeah I can look at some geography records. I know Michigan has a huge amount of copper toward the north, but I've not heard of a gold rush.

I don't usually smelt my own bullion unless I am doing assay work on hard rock ore that I am testing. Most companies buying flake gold want it as flake gold, either for jewellery other reasons.

There is a massive copper belt in Michigan ending at Royal Island in lake Superior, one of the strangest mysterys of the US. Almost 10 million pounds of copper are missing from the island, after European explorers discovered hundreds of ancient mines. No one knows where the copper went, but recently samples of copper ingots discovered in the mediterranean have been discovered to match this missing ore. Gold does appear near royal island, and nugget gold has been found mixed in glacial material all over the region.

Talking to the quire on that one sir. I'm pretty aware of a lot of the anomalies here & the midwest. Can't say Im an expert, but I follow the fringe news pretty closely on that stuff. Weird stuff happens in Michigan history & new discoveries among the community happens once in a while.

Breakable CombiBar - low premium, usually costs higher

Copper stacking is the ultimate tell of a poorfag who can't even afford a modest amount of silver. It's not even a precious metal, it was never seen as a store of value or currency (besides fucking pennies, lol), and the increase of production has no end in sight.

So if Gold is to go $11000 + as this chart would indicate
