Peoples opinion on RPL?
Looks like it's the token which will grant others the rights to run eth validators with a pool of other individuals eth?

It looks to be mainly on uniswap as well. In this bull run, is uniswap going to be the place where the absolutely moon fuel tickets are to be found? It's only at 12m cap and yet I've heard this talked about on multiple youtubers streams. Am I missing something here or is this a legitimate opportunity?

Thanks... This feels extremely unusual. I was looking at their site as well, and you're right that it has been in Dev for quite a long time. The liquidity on Uniswap is pretty large as well, so you're only getting about 2% slippage on what would be a moon ticket IF it does something like a 10x. However, maybe we've missed the first leg up as it seems to have been increasing pretty fast the last few weeks. Still, only 12m market cap.

Also, there's only 12million of the tokens? Fuck! This keeps getting better.

So, one thing I'm wondering is; as an end user of rocket pool, do you incur any cost from giving your eth to the network? If the provider of Eth has no cost other than perhaps an agreement to provide the Eth for a fixed time, then why would every single eth in a wallet not eventually be incorporated in to some type of pool like this?

Given that I'm a recovering Hex guy, I'm kind of wondering now if the same tokenomics that Hex was going for will eventually apply to Eth.

Do not trust anyone that tells you this coin is great. The token has NOTHING to do with staking.

Look at the actual tokenomics, this token has no standing.

The makers of this token has been reported to the Australian Trade and Investment Commission for their pump and dump scheme.

Well, if it's anything like what happened to Hex, just forget about it and keep an eye out for when every second thread on biz is about it. Then sell at a tidy profit.

Can we talk a bit about how much better Uniswap is than the 2017 era "decentralised" exchanges.

It's like night and day which is why I say the modern day moons will be there and not on shitty obscure exchanges what host like one notable coin and mysteriously get "hacked" when that token 10xs.

Ohh I see, you are lowkey trying to fud it in a not so obvious way. If pajeets believe your ass, they might as well deserve to sell their bags to you.

Why do you care so much? In my experience when theres coordinated fud on a low mc coin, there are ulterior motives. Are you or your employers perhaps trying to fud for a better buy price?

I'm only reading about it now, but isn't the point of the token to gain rights to run validators for the Eth which is granted to the pool(s)? I guess what happens is that the more ether which is granted to the network, the less it costs in terms of RPL to add a validator to the network. The FAQ says the price of a validator in RPL fluctuates depending on the state of the network to maintain a balance between number of validators vs available Eth.

>> No.18886763

>>18886629
you need 16 RPL to run a node, which you get back at the end.

Now explain the tokenomics to bagholders with 50,000 tokens

Sorry, but I think you guys may have been fudded. This is from Rocket Pool themselves:

"In addition to depositing ETH, a node operator is required to deposit a set amount of RPL per ether they are depositing. This RPL:ether ratio is dynamic and is dependent on the network utilisation. E.g:
If the network has plenty of capacity, then node operators need more RPL to make deposits. It gets progressively more expensive in terms of RPL to make node deposits when the network does not have enough ETH from regular stakers to be matched up with node operators. This helps prevent several attack vectors outlined in the whitepaper and keeps assignment of ether ‘chunks’ to nodes quick.
If the network is reaching capacity, then node operators need less RPL to join as the network needs more node deposits to be matched up with regular users deposits. If the network is maxed out and needs node operators to join quickly, it even drops to 0 for the first one to make a deposit."

As more non-node users deposit eth for staking, the cost associated with adding another node goes down.

Also, I'm a software engineer by trade and these commits related to the project looks good to me at a cursory glance:

(most crypto related projects on github that I've seen have been months of updating readme files...)
