>Restaurants just opened back up in my county.
>Took a qt dating app roastie out the other day to a nice restaurant.
>First time dressing up since February.
It was a pleasant rush of dopamine to get out of the house and enjoy something that felt 'normal' again. But, was it really normal? The restaurant was eerily quiet, strict occupancy limit, tables miles apart. Every single staff member was decked out in gloves and masks. It felt like I was being served food in a sterilized emergency room. Interaction with the hostess felt awkward, since you couldn't really read their faces with PPE on. Nothing at this restaurant felt like it did before all of this shit popped off. The new normal is sterile and gray, and it feels very bleak.

We should've worn masks from the beginning. We should've listened to Taiwan when they tried to warn the world. Instead we listened to the WHO trying to tell us that the world wasn't on fire. Holy shit, what a dumb mistake. The only countries that took the virus and the masks seriously were China's Asian neighbors, and they've pretty much flattened their curve. Hopefully we learned something from this experience for the next one.

I guarentee you that we have learned absolutely nothing from this. In fact, if another pandemic happens, id bet money that americans will be protesting lockdown measures in less time than it took them to hit the streets this time around. And I bet the govt will use it as another excuse to enrich corporations with bailouts.

The real depressing part is how gullible people are and accept any government restrictions without thinking and parrot idiotic normalspeak

It's fucking amazing. Open-book tests every other class because teachers have given up. I got straight A's last semester, boyos. Not too different from typical but it was way easier.

This was nothing more than an experiment to see how effectively entire populations can be locked down. None of the numbers suggest this response was at all necessary. This whole thing was a sham and we've been manipulated by one of the greatest hoaxes of all time. The funny thing is, there's absolutely no accountability whatsoever for this, now if we say the numbers were misrepresented and deathrates were exponentially lower than was initially being reported, they're just going to go
>lol I guess social distancing/self isolation worked then
