ive seen people not just lose money, but ruin their fucking lives with option trading

there was this 1 guy on reddit who had absolutely no clue what he was doing, and didnt comprehend he just got margin called for like 60k by the broker.

although these are internet stories, i know a lot of IRL people who blew their fucking live savings by going full long this bull market in 2019. One colleague bought some stocks at their all time high, invested them into 6 or 7 of them, set no stop loss, did not hedge portfolio, went against all advice. his portfolio went from 100k to 5k because he re-entered and entered at just all the wrong times. and this guy is educated at what we would call a very high standard. lost his wife, got fired now thanks to covid, and is just at the end.

theres always at least one guy who is more retarded than you are and worse off, remember that at least :)
