The body uses viruses(solvents) to dissolve damaged toxic cells that cannot be dealt with by the janitors(bacteria,parasites) because they die out. Flu's are viral detoxification's that come in cycles depending on how often your body needs them. If there is certain pollution or chemical that all lot of people are exposed to a lot of people may get the same symptoms. But there is no human to human transmission.

Secondly the corona virus test does not isolate for any virus. It test's for RNA strand's which can come from many bodily processes.
