All i know is that Chainlink will be play an important role in the future automated economy by supplying live oracles feeds to many companies that need them. It will basically quantify Trust in a system and decentralize it so that companies no longer will need to rely on centralized and faulty 3rd parties to feed accurate information, instead it will be based on a reputation system.
