This. He's done, he prob won't make another year on this mortal coil. A lot of you fags need to go and listen to actual expert predictions on where this likely going.

Apple is the one big standout that is doing extremely well. But Apple alone will not fix this.

they don't actually print dollars though, they buy assets and mostly lend out reserve notes, which banks don't actually use except to adjust their balance sheets

that is why it doesn't work, and its also why we don't get street level inflation

They can blow financial bubbles, but they can't stop deflation. Even with more debt and asset prices up, the debt weighs down growth and we still get deflation.

They are powerless to escape this trap. We will not get improvements to living standards or real economic growth for 30 years like Japan

He will not starve of course, but you need to think on a bigger scale. When Buffett is at his wits' end. What the fuck are little rich gone do? Go all in Apple and hope it never drops? And dividends will always rise? That is not the solution. There is NOTHING atm
Just nothing to buy

negative feedback loops are nearly impossible to get out of.

People have no money -> People spend no money -> Not many jobs cause no one spending -> People have no money

essentially the only thing that got us out of the great depression was the war, Japan is completely fucked and has been for ages now, it can't do anything.

Or maybe when the lockdown still isn't over when quarterlies come in, the stock market will naturally see another major sell off and drop back below 20k and then resurge by a few thousand when the lockdown ends and a new stimulus is announced to "get people back to work" (assuming, of course, congress doesn't deliberately shit the bed in hopes corpulent Joe can beat orange man, forcing us all to get fucked because several elderly people hate each other).

Get it, there is nothing to buy. everything is overpriced. I wouldn't be surprised if he will sit on this cash for next 13-20 months.
He is eyeing entry into new era commodities. Era after the crash. This wasn't a crash yet, people.

Is Bufett really in "cash" as everyone says though? I though he was in treasury something somethings. Does anyone know what exactly? Can he sell those quickly enough to buy something else? How?

What is here supposed to buy? Every major company is billions in debt from stock buybacks, foreign investing will always be garbage, shitcoins are garbage, and real estate is the next bubble
