IQ about 130. How is life when you're dumb? Do you fear the danning Kruger effect? Do you ever notice how a previous experience in your life leads you to solve a problem you have right now? Are you interested in learning how things work? Are you sceptical of things and try to confirm them yourself?

Actually I think this skill so much compensates for my retardation that it's the reason why I'm in 6 figures and legitimately smart people aren't. They don't have this much more vital skill.

My theory was that less intelligent people have a harder time learning and therefor stay in the zone of high incompetancy/low skill for longer. Also it should be harder for them to self-reflect and therefore it is easier for them not recognize it.

IQ tests vary from test to test and few are consistently reliable, e.g. vocabulary tests favour english students and feature in many, non verbal reasoning impacts people with varying degrees of aphasia, and logic tests only test a very particular sort of intelligence. IQ tests lack any pragmatic applications of problem solving and rely heavily on attained data in your lifespan, which - how can that possibly reflect a "true" intelligence?

if IQ was a real tester of natural, innate and unchanging intelligence it would not increase or decrease after schools are installed in areas. it's very unreliable and it doesn't account for a lot of different types of learning and understanding. thinking it defines any part of you imo demonstrates stupidity in and of itself and a desperation to feel special. "intelligent" people should be critical of these tests, but for some reason, they aren't.

>>18817486
Being able to articulate things good is something that requires a high level of intelligence. Forget online IQ-tests they are mostly garbage. Also most people can up their score by a full standard deviation just by practicing these tests. I'd imagine you are at least 100-114

I became very stupid around the time I turned 30. I lived in a black mold infested house for a year and it destroyed my abilities to focus, visualize, and calculate. Where before I could mentally add up and price materials lists for a construction job just by walking around and thinking about what needed to get done, I would now struggle to add things up WITH A CALCULATOR given a drawn diagram of the project and a tally of materials needed. I had to quit my career and let go of my crew because I couldn't make things work anymore, mentally and physically. I can't speak for people who were always dumb, but for me being an idiot is really fucking frustrating and time consuming.

Took the SAT (American thing) in 7th grade for fun which is normally for high schoolers. Best most of my older brother's classmates (1040 on a 1600 point scale). Took it severely underslept and got 1050 5 years later.

Took a test to get into a private high school. Scored a 91/100. Put in all honors, didn't follow through, lost all but English honors.

Took the military ASVAB test through my school and scored a 93/100. Didn't join the military, probably should have joined the Air Force.

Took an IQ test as party of a study on stimulants at 20. Scored around 125. For the final "assemble this structure" part of the test, I couldn't figure out what the proctor told me was the easiest part for most people. Got everything else in it though.

Fast forward to now. Almost 33, getting a second associate's degree after 15 years in college. Lifetime earnings probably totals less than $70,000.

Older sister with several PhDs and top in her field (stats, epidemiology, sociology and gerontology) says I'm the smartest out of my siblings. Older brother is an Electrical Engineer.

Meanwhile, living at my parents and haven't banged in nearly 8 years. High IQ and high test scores doesn't always correlate to success in life. Neither does pretty much being liked by coworkers and friends. Being able to focus and followthrough plays a huge role. Also, depression, anxiety and addictive behavior I have can suck my dick. Don't like being dependant on my parents and the state.

Some days, I've wanted to end it all, but thankfully haven't. Partially I don't want others to suffer and I want to contribute to society and make something of myself. I am lucky to have fairly decent health and a supportive and loving family.

Good luck anons of all IQs. May you make it.

I feel your pain. I was working for 9.25/hour at a chill mental hospital job while doing my second degree. Went from photographic memory and handling arithmetic in my head effortlessly to having to think about things and just generally spacy after some nigger suckerpunched me. All I remember is a deep thud sound and seeing blood everywhere when my vision returned. Took me a few minutes to realize I'd even been punched. The next two weeks I was extremely lethargic and a serious brain fog. 5 years later I'm still not fully recovered but I learned to live with it. I really resent losing what I had though. I wouldn't say I was a genius but I never struggled in uni and could study for hours without slowing down. Adderall is the only thing holding me up these days like a crunch where before it was a performance enhancing drug. Scary how fragile the brain and cognitive function can be.

I was the same way before that house; learning and making connections was effortless fun. The worst part is knowing what you once had and what it could have become. Not IQ related but has anyone noticed if you stop using electronics for as little as half a day your imagination suddenly becomes a lot more vivid?

As for IQ, getting on with low and high IQ people is far more natural to me than with people in the 85-115 range. Those you'd describe as academically smart are the worst. It seems almost impossible to extract an original thought out of such people. Learning is one thing but unapplied knowledge is a waste of time.

IQ tests are somewhat variable, but only slightly, and only for the single specific test
Aka, you can train for one IQ test and get better, but not for a different IQ test

There are molds like stachybotrys chartarum that release molecules which can be highly toxic to some people. These toxins cause a chronic inflammatory response which depletes the body of nutrients and results in oxidative stress and the breakdown of important tissue throughout the body. This chronic elevated inflammatory response can lead to autoimmunity and other allergic problems, the breakdown of tight junctions in the gut and brain, liver toxicity, renal toxicity, opportunistic infections... all kinds of bad stuff.
