Let me do some quick math for you retard.

August 2017 buy $10,000 of ChainLink and buy $10,000 of Silver.

Current Value Link = $250,000 and Silver = $10,000

OHHHHH FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK lollo ollool oo o oo ol olol olol ol ol lol

And this is coming from someone who owns a couple hundred oz silver and few oz gold. Even bought a couple Batbois.

SO, are you going to be an absolute mong again?

Throw your money in Link while you still have a chance. 3 years from now will be even crazier then what happened from 2017 to now and silver will still be hovering below $20 IF you're lucky.

>meanwhile he would have gotten better return on his money in a savings account.
We've had over ten years of zero interest rate policy where the interest paid in a bank account is less than the rate of inflation. Interest rates can never return to historical norms without precipitating a financial crisis. Meanwhile, no central bank has the courage or virtue to end the current idiotic policies. Precious metals are a way to get, at worst, a zero real return on savings (as opposed to a negative real return if in paper money) and likely a positive real return as central banks the world over endlessly depreciate their currencies in the hopes that issuing more debt can solve the problem of overindebtedness.

When it all crashes, precious metals can then be used to buy assets at fair prices. Buying stocks where P/E ratios are in the triple digits or where profits and profit margins are at historical highs is going to do a poor job of protecting purchasing power.

Then why not place your money in stocks? The big companies will still be around regardless of inflation. If you appreciate the aesthetic of tangible wealth then why not go a step further than rocks? sure anon, so in the past. once the country has devalued its currency to the point where even the normies realize its garabe, they create a new currency at which point the old one still in circulation becomes worthless almost over night.

now where silver comes in, leading up the creation of the new currency is when everyone and thier brother will flood metals, to escape the current inflation until the new currency is printed.
which will give silver a 3x and gold a 2x moon. otherwise your right we would get roughly about the same value we put in out of them.

That’s literally what we used to call “savings” though. There’s nothing wrong with savings... and historically, investing in corporate ventures was something for people who already had a safety net of savings (i.e., PMs) already.

The only reason why speculation in stocks and real estate has become the norm today even for poor people is because holding paper or digital “cash” is an even worse option and people have been conditioned to see PMs as for schizos and boomers.
