To get to a 12 billion valuation, it should just see 2.4 Billion transactions per year or 6.575 million txs/day.
Is this possible?
Well Richard said yesterday that they were definitely on track to hit the original growth target of 235000 households with Lition by 2022, in fact he was very confident and adamant about it so we can hope/expect that they will outperform this by a large margin. For this I would look towards expansion of Lition Energie in the US or asian countries and for continued strong growth in the European market (expectations to double to 2.5M households by 2023)

As for now, they probably have around 10k households (rising 25% per month and solid 4 figures), which justifies a valuation of almost 20 million IMO.

The returns will obviously be more the longer you stake.

You can't withdraw your tokens back to your wallet while they're staked.

I've been invested in LIT since almost a year now because of their GDPR compliant blockchain solution and not so much for their energy use case. I've always thought of it more like a proof of concept of sorts, for the blockchain technology they are developing.

Also in the last AMA Richard seemed very confident about it and also the figures he gave were very encouraging. I installed the Metamask extensions, told me to create a wallet, which I did.. I only saw the ETH address, so I assumed I had to create a token for LIT to deposit, but couldn't find it. First time I have to use Meta, so still in the trial and error phase, but don't want to make any mistakes and lose my LIT.. If you believe in LIT, compound your stake. This way you increase the reward you get every time by increasing the stack of your stake.

Alternatively it might be viable to not compound, sell of the LIT you have been awarded at spikes and buy again during dips for a nice little stack increase, but that would be way riskier.
