I never believed in conspiracy theories but the Bill Gates thing is making me question my beliefs. Literally no one on the internet strongly hated Bill Gates. He's always been a fairly non-controversial figure. You could like or dislike him but few people had strong feelings about him. Suddenly there's the pandemic and Bill Gates is now the mastermind behind a sinister plot that involves mind control, satanism, vaccines, and microchipping. It's being spread across the internet like wildfire. It's not natural.

He's been hated by people with autistic research interests since before he started his vaccination and birth control programs in Africa. eg. he paid for fud campaigns in the 90s and early 2000s to shut down adoption of open source software and people in the open source community had a lot of (accurate) theories about his intent to monopolize and control the development and sale of software in general.
The recent push against him is natural in the sense that he's doing exactly what theorists have been warning about for the past decade, and he's spent a lot of money on a propaganda campaign to ingratiate himself to the public at large (netflix documentary series).
