Its not about cost. When you drive an old car, it doesn't seem like you're trying to show off. What I'm saying is the only reason to buy, for example, a 3 series instead of an M4, is because you aren't rich enough to buy the later. So whenever I see some poorfag in a 3 series it looks like a pathetic attempt to flex, but you know they are probably poor and financed it. Since why else didn't they get the better model?

Happy for you, OP. I have a mercedes and it's fantastic, except for the suspension, since I live in a city with tough roads.

Driving a BMW isn't just about showing off, it's about the drive, the interior, the design, and the reliability.

Also, if I want a 3 series and not an M3 it isn't because I'm poor, maybe I put more importance on the interior than the speed.

That being said, I love cars that accelerate hard.

As a car enthusiast whenever I see a BMW I turn my head the other way. They all look way too similar so they’re boring and soulless, the internals are junk and they fall apart within 10k miles, and these midrange models don’t sound good at all. But all of my dumb office working colleagues bought a BMW right out of college so clearly it’s an ego/status symbol thing rather than actually caring about the quality of the car.

I have been driving an old Nissan Pulsar for years, but last year finally upgraded to a Kia Stinger GT (6cyl). IT is a beautiful car. It has so much power. 7 year unlimited KM warranty (and this is what sealed the deal was the warranty) I also got free log book service for 2 years from the dealer. I could not be happier with the car.
