Meat/poultry saftey regulations were also deregulated by Trump recently. It's probably a good idea to avoid buying meat in general for a while unless you want food poisoning.

You do realize that a lot of regulations are bullshit right? It's like the industrial equivalent to minimum wage laws. They sound good on the surface but they actually raise the barrier to entry and make it harder to start up and compete from the bottom.

won't this cause inflation? if we don't consider inflation as an increase in monetary supply, but as the purchasing power of the dollar (currency). A breakdown of supply chains would result in fewer goods, but the demand stays the same, so the goods should naturally rise in price to balance out the supply.

If this supply chain breakdown happens to enough producers, we could see a debasement of the purchasing power.
In addition, services could also become more expensive when the quarantine is lifted, as there will still be covid-19 regulations like for instance that cinemas can't have people sitting too close, so they can only sell half the number of seats, or airtravel likewise requiring the middle seat to be empty - these things would force the business to either operate at a loss or raise their prices.
