I'm being furloughed today, until June 30th and still on 100% pay. Basically will be able to live the NEET life for 2 months.

I work in grocery delivery, at a company that only does delivery and has been in business since 1999. Company wide our orders are up 380% but at my warehouse its up 1200%. Its great not having to deal with customers but im getting hazard pay anyway. Making 18$ an hour now instead of 16$. I only work weekends and am unionized.

Im also getting more free printer money from the canadian government even though i work twice as many hours now as before.

When i have extra money i buy gold and silver but its much harder to get now. Maybe ill stockpile food instead.

My job is actually literally labled "essential" but they sent us all home with pay anyways. I'm a GS-11 DoD civilian and I just make maps with arcGIS & google earth and otherwise look at dots on screens all day. Workflow is "classified" with the highest meme clearance so it can't be done from home.

My whole office is home on paid leave and they are all boomers making upper 6 figs, so about $3mil in wages being paid for nothing.

Example: Production Planners
Their make lists of shit we need done.
We don't actually need them because we work on a fixed military delivery model.
So all we need to do is keep rates consistent. We make 3 f35 parts a week, that's it.
didn't even need planners, that's why they all got laid off.

Another example: managers
We had 1 manger for every 15 people.
They basically told us what to do and kept our clock in/vacation shit in order.
Turns out that can all be done in like 30min
That's why we now have 1 manger per 100 people now.

Another example: product engineers
Their job was designing and testing new tools.
Well, it turns out we only need 1/10 of that department to make 3d models.
The CNC fags make the tool, and the shop floor tests it and gives feed back to engineers.
We didn't need 10 fags telling us if the tool would work when they don't even touch real parts.
