18679940 No.18679940 [Reply] [Original]

there are only 112,000 addresses with 32 ETH. ETH is artificially low because of the coronavirus. In a normal climate testnet would have been the moon mission.

You don't have to go all in on ETH. Just sell enough of what you're holding to get 32.

This entire board is not going to have to work anymore and being called a wage slave for the rest of your life will be devastating.

>>18680415
Yes, if phase0 launches in a few months, eth has a potential to go above $3k this year.
It's a very interesting case, because all deposited eth is locked for at least one year, probably longer.
20M+ ETH is going to disappear from supply. Part of that eth is right now holded on addresses, but millions are going to be freshly bought.

Unfortunately, PoW still remains on, so dumps from miners are going to dump the price over the long term. I expect a temporary parabolic rise into insanity (~$3k), then bear market until PoS is announced, at which point it's going to pump again.

There's on unknown - it's possible eth manages to flip bitcoin during the first staking bubble. All it would take is $10B+ of net spot demand in a month. That would be uncharted territory. I don't expect it to happen in 2020.

when will you morons realize that ETH is the only coin you need. Every transaction on the Ethereum network is paid for in ETH. There is no reason to use any other coin on ETH besides ETH as a medium of exchange.

Sure you can scream "muhh you need LINK for oracle services" except you dont, and if you think that you've been blinded by the link bullrun, just like all the btc maxis have been too blinded by 20k$ bitcoin to realize that btc is dead and every institution and company in the world working in blockchain is doing it on ETH.

Peter THIEL. Dont forget that paypal mafioso who is behind ETH. BTC was just there to normalize the crypto surveillance state. ETH was designed to create it.

anyone with half a brain realized there was no free lunch in DeFi. People were wrapping ETH into DAI and selling DAI on exchange to buy more ETH. It was the pinnacle euphoria. Anyone in their right mind knows that NOTHING is free EVER, and that if you were making interest, it was because you were taking on a bunch of risk.

Come to think of it though, they did manage to encourage a bunch of horded eth to come out of the sidelines into those DAI contracts so they could get their hands on it right before the ETH bullrun.

Its possible.

How the fuck is UBT going to catch up to Ethereum. Seriously. They've been developing it, building a brand, infiltrating institutions of higher education, shipping products for YEARS. UBT is just a way for scammers to get rich parting fools from their money.

Kek, this is huge linklet cope. Just because you autists keep repeating that does not make it true. A JSON parser can easily bring outside data into a blockchain. Centralized oracles like coinbase's can bring data in. No one wants some neets in a basement validating data. News flash.

this is simply untrue. SC"s completely work with oracles, you just have to TRUST them.

but MUHHH decentralization!!!! TRUST NO ONE.

Business runs on TRUST, bucko. If you ever got out of your parents' basement you'd realize this. There is no oracle problem and there never was. Smart contracts arent really smart contracts, they are lines of code. Users of ethereum will be satisfied to trust certain oracles if it makes their lives easier. Not everyone has the doomer fantasy that they can live forever as an island without ever trusting anyone.

grow up.
