I own $2M in the bank and ~$500K in several assets and investments. I don't think I'm smart. In fact I don't think being intelligent could have gotten me as far as I have. It's literally all been about opportunism and charisma. I flipped a house, used that money to cash in on a few "failing" stocks that quickly stabilized years back, and then I rode BTC until 10K. After that, I got in with a group of rich boomers who pay me to keep a small security detail running around their private parties, and all I did was give my buddies jobs because I can trust them more than some random niggers and Cletus, both of which will try to rob the place. It doesn't take a genius to get rich, it just takes grabbing at opportunity, talking to people, and a little bit of luck. I'm sure any /biz/ cuck can make it if they shoot for the stars instead of listening to the uneducated clowns of this board touting their knowledge of "trends".

I get a very decent risk-free return on the money I spent on education (not from US, so it wasn't really that much). I can't think of any asset that would give me the same risk-adjusted return on that horizon.
I didn't inherit anywhere near enough to become a millionaire. And of course I didn't inherit enough to make a million of interest.
Starting up something that would make me a millionaire is basically a six sigma event. And yes, I never claimed I'm smart enough for something like that.
