Me? Nope stocks go up and down. Reasonably they should be going but it is likely manipulation propping them up. If they go back to normal I jump out like I did months ago. No point of being in if neither a recession or depression has occured when I can jump in much cheaper especially after a decade plus upward trend.

Trump is unironically a bigger commie than any social democrat in Europe.

Do you guys realize that this kind of actions are actually just taking tax payer money = YOUR future earnings to protect the investments of existing shareholders?

It's not about jobs. Jobs will be back anyway if oil turns profitable. It's only about keeping the 1% as the 1%. Oil companies going bankrupt doesn't take away the oil, the equipment, the infrastructure from the states. There will be another company starting off with fresh books. That could be your company.

Amerifagots seem to have a naive understanding of taxes
>but tax is stealing
>but debt doesn't need to get paid
>debt is just imaginary

Suck up this:
Government decides to take debt == government decides to tax you more in the future

Government uses debt money to bail out oil companies = government uses YOUR future earnings to bail out existing shareholders

Taxes are way too fucking low for financial stability, now US is passing italy 2018 levels in debt to gdp even without gdp contraction. Trump was basically holding a national economic party with your debt money.

Trump overheated an already overheated market. Taxes cannot be cut, otherwise US will see debt to gdp of 200%+ in a year or two. USD won't handle that.

That is a bizarre way to think about it. Oil futures in particular have always been a way for crude producers to move product up the chain without having to have their own refineries or oil transport , etc. Usually tankers, trains, and refineries are what buy these contracts. And it is a CONTRACT. There are penalties for not picking up the oil as the buyer or selling it as the seller that extend internationally.
Retail speculators probably much like yourself tried to get in between and hold these contracts to sell back to oil refineries before the contract date was up (today).
But there was no demand from refineries because there is no space in storage and no domestic demand. All casual retail investors are getting fucked thinking that oil is "easy money"

Can you imagine what would happen to the cotton fields if nobody was there to pick it? We're talking cotton shortages for months, even years! Yes they could pay Americans a proper wage for the work, but then that would increase the price of cotton and you'll be paying more for the clothes you're wearing. Do you want that anon? To move the cost of the product onto the consumer? The fact is that Slaves make our country STRONGER and we NEED them. Besides, they come to our country and experience a better life than where they're from anyway.

Are you retarded? If farmers paid more wages, the price of the food would simply go up to compensate. By how much? a 10% wage above minimum wage would add a few cents to individual produce. Except farm workers usually get paid under the table as many of them are illegal, and they get paid far less than minimum wage, which is preferable for the owner to hire illegals immigrants(and even poorer legals) over legals who demand minimum wage.

Americans gladly work backbreaking dirty fucking jobs. But they want to be compensated properly for it. Farmers don't want to do that because they have plenty of illegals and poor legals they can use and pay them under min wage.

that is simply not the case for the vast majority of agricultural production, these are jobs that are unfilled every year, that pay at least 15 bucks a hour and have benefits. illegal aliens get these jobs by providing employers with a real social security number and real name attached to said number except it doesn't belong to them, and as such easily passes the e-verify system.

farmers would have to raise wages to at least 20 bucks a hour to get americans to do it and even then they wouldnt be able to get many because the labor is to far away from the farm, plus its seasonal work and not year around, not many people are willing to do that. theres a number of reasons as to why it doesnt work.

Why do you feel the need to lie? U.S. Department of Labor clearly shows that the average rate of farm workers is 7 dollars, sometimes less if you're new.

You have a point about it being seasonal work. But that's the only point you have, and it's not a strong one when theres lots of industries who hire seasonally.

Like really, do you think that if the farmers had to pay their employees more, than they would just throw in the towel and say "no, Im not raising the price of an apple from .70c to .80c!"? No. What would happen, like every fucking industry in existence, is that they would adapt, whether than means relying more on technology to replace workers, or raise the cost of that produce by, like I said, a few cents.
