once people find out the government can't bail out every single company, and that as well as furloughed workers, lots have also been permanently laid off, this shit is going into depression.

Add to that to all this oil business, politics and the fact we have social media, everybody is going to start freaking out.

USL apparently tracks against 12 month futures so it's less exposed to storage fees and the roll over is 1/12th per month of the USO cluster fuck.

Should be easy as hell thanks to having 5600 to use as ammo. Had a bit of green sitting in the account ready for action already so I bought more KHC and KO this afternoon. Soon as DIS tanks like mad once the earnings come out, I'll strike and add more to my current DIS stake. $80 dollars a share is pretty doable if the earnings are as bad as what they claim (or worse). It's over 102 now. 70 more shares added. times the rebounded price of 102. 7140 bucks easy as hell. I'll make back my 800 and a bit more. If it takes a while, so what? The business that thay work at doesn't have any money, it might not even exist anymore. Customers might spike the first week back, but then it will settle into a low customer flow as people don't have money to buy things anymore. Whos going to pay people to go to work when there are no customers? Its a spiral. People don't have money to spend because they don't have a job, and they don't have a job because nobody is spending money. This is the double edges sword of debt, it makes your booms bigger but your crashes deeper.

People bought contracts to buy up oil in December dated for May. Shit's been retarded since then. Tomorrow is the last day to trade those contracts. Since the contracts started trading around 18:00 eastern yesterday, the price for said contracts had been going down due to pressure. Suddenly, earlier today, the market ran out of buyers for the contracts specifically because no one had storage for the contract's underlying oil. A lot of financial bros got systematically fucked in the ass and lost millions. This has never happened before in history, and oil has never been this illiquid,

Sure, but let's be clear here. At the beginning of today Monday May oil contracts were 18 dollars. June is now sitting around 20-21. The weird negative glitch was a result of (probably) retail speculators. But that actually means that May's contracts were likely inflated and masking the pain for weeks. June could easily be worse for real reasons but not negative

Yes! E-trade has released my 5600 bucks. I'm ready for action Tuesday. No penny stocks, or shit that will take my green wad. If KO hits $40 (which it might cause it tanked pretty hard this afternoon even before earnings), I'm all over it. It won't take it long to hit 48 again. And hell having more of a defensive tilt in these dark times ain't a bad play either (as is pulling down that divvy). 140 more KO shares added to the stash. That's 6720 @ 48 a pop. I'd clear 1120 in profit (minus the 5600 buying price)

The no agenda guys gave an interesting perspective on nflix. their business model only works when more people are paying than actually watching. usually people are off at work, might watch a show or two when they get home or binge on weekends. but everybody at home all the time has to be hell on their bandwidth costs. netflix is probably losing their shirt right now.
