Crimea is a neat situation, it used to belong to Russia but was turned over to Ukraine in 1954. Russians in Crimea have always hated being part of Ukraine, the country is much poorer than Russia (lol). Crimea has warm water ports which is useful for both trade and military reasons. But the last thing they want is for an anti-Russian government to form in the Borderland. They need it as a buffer zone.

Russias Black Sea Fleet is there with 16,000 soldiers, four airports and hundreds of warships. This treaty expires in 2042. Just my two cents.

You don't need a ton of money to invest depending on the broker you use. Most cases, you will spend $10 to buy and $10 to sell. So you need at least a $20 return to break even.

If you buy PLUG at $5.34 and want to break even at $7.50, you'd need to invest about $600 minimum. Any more that you invest is profit. Isn't the exact number, but I just rounded up to $600 to be safe. I invested $2,500 in FCEL and could sell my shares for about $5,350 at the moment.

Thoughts on COST right now? Everyone's selling them low because of their latest earnings report.

I'm ploughing through the Intelligent Investor and so far I've reached two conclusions: dollar-cost averaging is great, and unless I want to spend 40 hours a week of reaseach, I should put all my money in index funds.
