lets assume the average miner has been set up a long time and paid off his capital a long time ago.

even if it took a month to mine one and then add in more then assume $350 operating costs for 1 bitcoin. So the halving could mean $700 operating cost per 1 bitcoin.

I dont think that means the price of bitcoin will double. It will go up I think but maybe the miners will likely sell higher initially to cover more capital costs to make another machine and after a while it will even out again (until next halving)
