I dont understand how tobacco is addictive?
I always smoked cigars or pipe tobacco and go on and off frequently without problems, until recently I went 2 years without smoking and just forgot about it until new years eve when a friend brought cigars and then started smoking again regularly until the shutdown, literally don't even have the urge to smoke and probably wont smoke again unless an occasion pops up or I fing a cigar under the bed

Quit pornography too.

Good on you for quitting.

Try working out or at least get active to distract from the urge to smoke or rage. It'll take some time, but eventually you'll overcome it if that is what you want.

Smoke a pack or more every single day for 15 years and then try to quit. No one thinks you're special or awesome for """quitting""" your once a day cigar habit buddy.

well thats what I was thinking
its not the tobacco thats addictive its just habitual smoking
in other words, its not a chemical dependency like with other stimulants, if anything I think smokers are just addicted to having a 'smoke break' more than anything
or maybe its similar to gambling where its entirely based on a persons predisposition to it?

I think the chemical dependency plays a role as well, just maybe not as much. had to quit at the beginning of quarintine and for the first 3 or so days I definitely felt lower energy and physical cravings. Afterwards it faded and now it's just wanting to smoke for the feeling again

Vape. Get a shitty juul. You’ll probably hate it but that’s good. Taper down from there. I smoked then moved to a fancy vape, but that shit was obnoxious and I got a juul and one pod can last me a few days. I’m almost ready to kick this shit for good, pick a weekend and slam sleeping meds and hopefully sleep through the worst withdrawals. Avoid alcohol but that’s kinda obvious.

Anyone can """"quit""" any drug if usage is rare, I've done cocaine many times yet drop it at any time due to the low frequency usage. According to your piss poor logic that means cocaine is not addictive. Have you ever considered that medical professionals may in fact know more than you do? Its hard to believe I know, but its true LOL XD!
