actually there are a lot of studies that show the open "fun" design plans of most modern corporate workspaces are actually detrimental to worker productivity. Workers perform better when given some semblance of privacy instead of 10 people working from the same desk. But companies couldn't less give a shit about productivity because its sooooooooo much cheaper to just have a boring empty room with 2 extra long desks and 40 chairs with some "quirky" shit like a pool table and juice bar here and there than to set up actual walls and rooms

I don't mind being a wagie right now. I'm already paid well, then I get a bonus as hazard pay, then I get trumpbux since I graduated last year and therefore still made less than 75k in 2019, and then if the HEROES act passes, I'll get 4 months of my income free of federal income tax. And on top of that, workload right now is minimal since so many people are afraid to leave their homes, and I've also been able to pick up a lot of extra shifts and get good overtime pay due to all the other people who are taking off because they fell for the meme flu. And theoretically if I do catch coronavirus, I get 2 weeks free PTO for something that barely affects the young and fit people.
