How will you teach your children the value of money?

My babyboomer parents gave me everything that I wanted during my childhood and I spent every dollar I was ever given and I can't say I was good with money during my early adulthood either. At this point I've only become good with money simply because I have everything that I want. You can't frivolously spend money on THINGS if there isn't anything that you want.

"Lessons" are retard tier bullshit. You should get your kid integrated and accustomed to the highest standard of living possible so they act like an unbearably overconfident cunt.

The thing about bad parents generally, bar the really, really bad ones, is that they're so bitter at all the people that fucked their lives up, that they unwittingly try to make their kids like them instead of like their bullies, who are all typically doing just fine or better in life than the kind of person who turns into a bad parent.

You know what forcing your kid to get some shitty restaurant job actually does? It exposes them to a bunch of peers that they'll now base their behavior off of (even acting opposite to retards is retarded, so good job with the exposure therapy goy) and accustoms them to whatever standard of living they can afford on $9 an hour.

You know what spoiling the shit out of them does? It gets them into the cool parties, makes even hopeless nerds worth hanging out with, and exposes them to high-income friends who will be able to help them network later in life.

People who unironically want to "teach their kid a lesson" are so transparently trying to get their vengeance on the world, it blows my mind that more people don't see it.

>wahhh i got everything handed to me and i still fucked it up except i didn't and it turns out that i'm fine precisely because of what i'm complaining about (having everything i want). WAIT i know, i'll expose my kid to a ton of risk factors that increase the likelihood that they'll turn into a huge LOSER, then they'll have to EARN their way to a good life
like what? fuck you

make them work for me to earn money or big items that they want
frequently talk to them about what they want to do, why they want it, and how they will work to make it happen
in general the goal is to them about cause and effect so i will figure out as many ways as i possibly can to show them how they are to be the cause of their financial security.

That's part of why I don't plan on having kids. Growing up as one of the shortest skinniest kids at school really fucks up your life bad and I don't want to put anyone through that hell. If I didn't grow up poor or could've been home schooled it wouldn't have been as bad. Hopefully because of the virus online classes and homeschooling becomes more popular and maybe there wont be as many school shootings.

Haha my parents actually did this, I think mostly due to being pretentious and living in a delusion never saving money just using it all (got their house paid off at least) on living expenses. When I was around 17-18 and realised this I was a big angry with them for not being frugal, but it really helped a few years later when I got into uni and could make conversation with the high class people about high class things such as expensive foods and drinks we like to drink.

>ah you prefer the Chivas 18, as well, it's so much better than the 12 right? I can feel the nuts in my nose when sipping the 18 yes yes.
>A get-together on friday you say? I shouldn't tell the low class budlight folks? Well ok my friend of course not.
