its always the right time to buy. everyone here is waiting for silver to skyrocket before selling anyways, so if you have to pay a little bit of a premium now in order to make a lot of profit later, then its worth it. The longer you wait to buy, the less there will be in the market. If for some reason silver prices just drop through the floor then at least you can be here to cry with the rest of us and make some bitchin jewelry. I doubt silver prices will ever just "bottom out" though.

Don't go crazy, set yourself a small goal for now and only buy pieces you enjoy looking at. Once you have a handful of pieces you really really like, then you can start buying generic shit and junk silver. Don't forget to keep a bar for carrying around with you and holding, its a chad feeling

tfw only stack 100 ounce silver bars.

The only reason not to stack as much physical silver as you can is if your a rich old man who is to weak to physically move it.

I could easily move 20 100 ounce bars (60kg) at once just in a back pack. I'll probably trade some silver for gold when the ratio gets back to historical levels. But for now I think silver is the buy of the century.

I'm stacking silver, but honestly I think the higher silver/gold ratio in olden days was due to the premium silver had for being an every day currency.

Good currencies are a store of value + medium of exchange + unit of account. Silver is still a good store of value, but since it's not a commonly used currency anymore it loses some relative value.

It will correct, it's not a random ratio out of thin air, it's based on mining process : worldwide you have 9oz of silver mined for each oz of gold, thus it should be valued 1:9, not the current ridiculous 1:115 ratio.
Silver is absurdly rare in the earth crust, you have 0.07 gram/ton average.
Anything below $1k/oz of silver should be considered extreme fud.

Hello penis music general
What do you guys think of collecting coins? Their price goes up with rarity and historic value. But that's a store of value too as long as the world of coin collecting exists.
Obviously these would not be used in a bartering situation, but even if it has to come to it, you still hold their worth in weight.
Collecting coins isn't the same as stacking precious metal.
I could buy a fuck load of ASE's, beautiful as they can be, but for collecting there are just some worth the extra expense just to own something special.
Maybe it's best to have a little of both worlds. A stack of investment coins, and some special pieces to show off.

I found a couple of rare gold pieces in pefrect condition that cost barely more than a regular gold coin for the same weight. I enjoy coin collecting it's exciting to see the rich history behind some pieces of metal and how fun it is to search the market and building a collection. I plan on getting those gold pieces and some silver ones too that belong together. Some of them should arrive today.

What should my stratagy be? I have 24k in the bank untied to any markets. The plan was to buy a home once the Canadian housing market drops through the floor. Note I have not debts, same with my woman.

You can get a one ounce gold coin that is pure gold and it's bullion.

If your dead broke go all in silver cause of gold/silver ratio highest in history.

You make a 2 sided silicon mold of target, then a wax replica by using the silicone mold.

Use the wax replica to make a pourable plaster mold. Melt out the wax, then pour in the silver.

Probably easier to make or stamp blanks from a sheet and then press them.

Yeah, not sure if that applies to the area where the West Point Mint is apparently. The Mint is considered essential but not sure how bad the situation is there. The main issue is that you have to get close to people and various equipment while minting if you've seen the facility tour on minting coins so there is a risk.
