I have lost 10% of my portfolio atm....I am all in on shorts and reverse indexes. This cannot go on. And if it does, as some anon said in a previous thread "this means stocks are never allowed to go down again thus no reason to short, always buy and take that 30% inflation every recession." So I will just buy in with what I have left and watch it grow sky high because god knows it will never go back down again.

I hope you bulls are happy knowing all your gains will pale in comparison to the falling of the dollar and how everyone who isn't already rich as sin will be poor forever as wages won't rise to cover inflation and jobs will get even more competitive. People have to understand recessions are good things, it keeps the economy honest with highs and lows and when you manipulate it too much the world starts going to shit. I am past my angry bear phase. Now I am just sad that this is the future we chose if things don't go my way. Might as well go full bull with what I can, run it up, and go retire early in a third world shithole before we become a third world shithole.

It's your choice. I'll vote 'for' though. I haven't checked the management all that much, but I am happy with the execution so far. The 1 year open label study is a perfect way to prepare for phase 3, the length and patient number will be enough, and it will be cheap. The off-the-shelf dilution is also a good way to address the money problem. I was afraid of some sudden dilution and dump, but this is as investor friendly as it gets. The other way would be a partnership, but in case the drug works, the gains would be less in the end. Everything is quite comfy, I would say. If only they managed the galt drug as well...

Anybody can see that stocks are linked to economic performance, corona virus shut downs have gutted the economy by at least 30%. The only points to argue are how fast the recovery will be? Are we going to plummet 30-35% and see recovery by the end of the year or are we dragging it out another year or more? I already sell today and tomorrow will sell even more and when it will turn down I will buy every day . Just think a bit if you buy every day of the year when it is (-)and sell every + then you have every time to sell with profit because there is more bull days per year Now if you buy in increasing sequence then your middle purchase value close to the bottom and sell to the top and you turn in to profit every single wiggle up or down . When you do it correct it is boring , and if it is not boring then you do something wrong based on emotions or media swindle.

This has got to be the worst of the meme phrases to come out apart from "priced in." The median US household income is $65k or so. Instead of the potentially misleading figures given here they've started using averages. So for the last 5 decades we've never historically seen more than 10k average deaths TOTAL for the week just gone by. This year it was 16k. You can argue all day about the validity of hospital numbers based on confirmed cases or admissions etc, but total deaths in the population against historical average is good enough for me, it is killing people. Worst is that these figures are delayed, so last week is really death certificates written for deaths about the end of March so I'd expect this figure to climb and climb until we are a few weeks after the peak. Also irrespective of what coverage you hear or see it is tearing through old peoples homes. The default line is they were going to die anyway, sure yeah, your average 80-90 year old likely has a chance of death approaching 60% each year anyway, but 3 people I know have lost grandparents to it last week. Also lost a friend (39) last week as well.

>>18462008
Normally, I would agree with you. Broadly speaking, people are terrible with saving, which is why they live paycheck to paycheck. But, in this instance it is a matter of paying of their debts or not having a house to live in, food to eat, a car to drive, etc. These are going to be debts that people and businesses will have to pay before returning to normal consumption patterns.

No, fuck you. The deck is stacked against the little guy here, daytrading is god damn fucking easy in this market, but paper trading doesn't make a profit even if you can show "wow, look at all this fucking money" it is. A fucking chimp can make money in this market daytrading, but day by day predictions? Gtfo, pure gambling there.

>>18461920
Oil dipping below 20 dollars and gold at ATH should be the biggest redflag one can raise, but fuck if this market cares. We hit 600 DOW same time oil dipped to 19.96.

>You shouldn't be "risking" your money goy, not when you can tie it up in one of our (((mutual funds))) and get penalized if you want to actually use it yourself. Ignore that the market outperforms them, fuck you, you aren't allowed to invest.

Nothing but the worst of news and indicators all day and looking into the future. I know people told me otherwise in the thread already. but fuck going bull right now. I hope you all get greeted by circuit breaker tomorrow and lose every bit of gains you all got, because this is too much greed by a mile. Fuck going in now, if you were in at the start nice, you will make money even if sell-off begins. But fuck going long only to see the next day be the day.

RSI is garbage desu senpai. If I'm using 10 metrics (in fact I stay with 3: 2 plays on different timeframes plus MA) to make a decision in order of importance, RSI is always last. An additional, slower MA is almost always a better indicator than RSI.

The initial severity for most demographics wasn't as large an issue as the infection rate. That combined with the long asymptomatic infectious period and its ability to tie up hospital beds with people who had underlying health conditions on top of their 'rona had the health system worried. Not to mention that it was a new virus mutation that we only had some familiarity with through SARS/MERS, and we were unsure of its ability to mutate further. And we naturally had no immunity as of yet for that reason, nor any idea of the long-term health impacts following recovery. There were reasons that precautions were necessary. Stop kidding yourself thinking that it was worth the risk of calling it just another flu.
