The only reason those oil producers are producing anything is because of loans that they refuse to payoff.
If the US wanted to protect local oil drillers without eliminating the free market, they would simply stop importing oil.
Instead, banks and US tax dollars come in to save the day.
Right now US oil drillers shouldn't be pumping any oil if they were catering to the market demand.

Should have gone all in on oil. Told you faggots when this shit was crashing in March that so long as Trump's at the helm nothing is happening to the shale industry.

Meanwhile Exxon gets a 9.5 billion dollar loan. Maybe up match the same one they got last month.

This is really getting to me now.

It depends on how important your $250 is. Likely it either goes to $200 or $300. So whatever.

They have a poor current ratio so they might not be able to weather hardship. Then again they'd probably get bailed out before they'd have to declare. Over all they are taking huge risks with their strategy which relies in perfect conditions.

Yeah I’m a little worried. Not about losing money, but I’m worried about not making any!
My two other main oil stocks have gone up by a solid 20% since I invested in them, while XOM keeps playing fucking games despite being the titan that it is.

>> No.18452572

>>18452548
Sure they're a titan, but they're not undervalued by any means, like Shell is. People have been meme buying them for what seems like 500 years.

My other money is in MRO & PDS, both fairly cheap stocks
I’m thinking about investing in shell & more in MRO, not sure though
I’ve also been told to invest in tanker companies who are going to end up renting their storage out to oil companies to store their excess oil

Maybe in the short term that could be a positive for them. I don't know anything about them tho so who knows what issues they potentially have.

Companies with poor current ratios are going to get ass fucked hard, unless the Fed goes ape shot, so just keep that in mind when determing who you want to put your money with.
