The first thing I saw in the moonlight was the placard with its legend in large, block letters: 'I defiled my race.' Above the placard leered the horribly bloated, purplish face of a young woman, her eyes wide open and bulging, her mouth agape. Finally I could make out the thin, vertical line of rope disappearing into the branches above... There are many thousands of hanging female corpses like that in this city tonight, all wearing identical placards around their necks. They are the White women who were married to or living with Blacks, with Jews, or with other non-White males.

Young person in the US checking in. Can confirm the majority of the people my age that I know are a wreck. Next to no financial literacy. Only stocks are given by company. Savings are only enough for 1-2 months rent if they gave savings at all. If they are making any amount of money most of them blow it on dumb shit. Most are paycheck to paycheck though because the majority of us were told to go to college and we will magically have a good paying jobs on the other end. As a result most of us got meme degrees that are little more than wall decoration. When I was in college around 2009 people were working for MLMs just to have a line on their resume.

I was one of the dumbasses who thought a psych degree would be worth my time and I have spent the last almost decade trying to do something worth my time with it. I have since gotten two more certifications and am teaching myself a useful skill outside of college because I no longer get any financial aid. I personally make a bit under 50,000 a year, am renting my parents second house for 500 under market value, putting my partner though (a relatively cheap) private school, and as of about a week ago supporting two other family members who lost their job. Things are fucking tight but I will be just fine. Especially once my partner is out of school assuming the US hasn’t imploded into an anarcho capitalist theocracy.

Everyone else I know give it take 3 or 4 people are fucked though. For reference I live in a big city with lots of wagie jobs

Millennials are apathetic because they see that the system is extremely fucking stupid and flawed. An individual can still be successful, but I believe it is less common of a motivation, basically because the system is fucking stupid. People here just take Hitler pills to cope instead. I understand the mindset, I just don't care. My degree is going to cost me 28,000-30,000 with a combined interest at 4%.

My question is to fucking old people... You fuckers.. you buy a house for $120,000 dollars right? Then you need to go buy your FORD SUPER FUCKTARD DUTY XL WITH TECHNOLOGY PACKAGE ONLY FOR $50,000 MSRP?

Just.. logically.. you slave all day, but maybe you lost one of your fucking testicles at birth or some shit like I did and think that a car payment cost 650 dollars with insurance (before 50 dollar gas tanks) and a house costing 1,100 makes sense..

Or that fucking eggs have doubled in price every 5 years. Now decent steak cost 14.50 a pound at the grocery store. Or that for some weird fucking reason DURING A HELLSTORM PANDEMIC THE PRICE OF GAS GOES DOWN?! Wouldn't there be a strangle on the supply lines? No? That's cool. I make around 4x median according to this chart. Started driving for amazon in my spare time recently, have delivered some junk into the poorer parts of my metro area, and now i can totally believe that median is that low. Around $400,000-500,000. He is either lying or he's old. You shouldn't look at dividends as a means of passive income, nor the real-estate you buy. They are both means of compounding wealth.

It's really not that hard to make that much money if you're a go-getter. Just takes time/dedication. Statistically, it's the guys in their 30's really finding wealth. Learn to enjoy the journey of your 20's and also start fucking saving early.

Get 10,000 dollars networth (including debt) before you even think about starting an investment portfolio.

When you start realizing the slow, but powerful growth of accounts/investing it will hurt you to spend money. It should hurt to spend fucking money, don't care what anyone else tells you.

But, nobody wants to drive a slightly used Toyato for a 3rd of the cost of our Mexican built Mercedes/Audi's. I don't really go telling people their "European car" wasn't actually built in Wolfsburg, but in Mexico.

I don't know, an apartment that's 800 a month after utilities in a midsized city, a 300 dollar car payment and some extra stuff shouldn't cost you more than 2,000-2,200 a month. Really, you should be able to park away at least a grand every month, but people need to buy NEW cars and GIANT apartments.

Look at midstream oil and gas and other sectors where corporate revenue isn't dependent on consumers but rather on long term fixed contracts. Oil tanker stocks are poised to have a record quarter for example due to their ability to to take advantage of long term charters as well as high spot prices.
Pipelines are not affected by viruses, they are like toll roads for commodities and make money in nearly any market condition.

Some companies have been so autistic about their dividend that they wouldn't dare cut it now, they will borrow the money if they must. You might think XOM and CVX are oil companies but after over 37 consecutive years of divvy increases their shareholders simply view them as ATM machines. Look into MLPs but understand the tax implications first. Companies that do lots of business with the gov't on an ongoing basis is another good choice.
