it literally doesn't exist. the "stop" is world war 3, aside from that QEInfinity is a literal definition of what's happening. it will be the case as long as the USD is the world reserve currency and that's backed up by our military might. the "stop" would be when anyone in the world wants to test our military might, basically. so, we can print as much as we want forever, or WWIII, there is no in between.

Despite the fact companies have told people to ignore those reports, or that they wont release one at all, this will cause uncertainty and people will begin to filter out of the market again.

I'm seriously thinking Europe might be the biggest loser in all of this (The EUsphere at least). The Med economies were already in shit shape and this is a functional KO. Germany was already teetering on a slight recession. With Brexit officially happening this year you'd have to imagine the Euro will experience a shit ton of trouble with all of these impending recessions and then that could cause the potential collapse of the EU.

Someone tell me why I'm wrong.

i've grown very depressed lately. we're all going to get it, that's just how it is. lives must be sacrificed to the economy, there's nothing we can do about it, we can't just stay in our houses for 2 years. the economy is a complete fucking mess with all of the debt and companies have zero fucking savings, being unable to last even a single month without revenue. we're all getting coronavirus, unless you have a castle or bunker you can live in without human contact for the next 2 years, we're all gonna fucking get it and there is nothing you can do about it. you're going to get it. your parents are going to get it. your friends, everyone is going to get it. the vast majority of people. if my parents get it and die, well, they die then, they become a statistic and nothing will change that. i'll just have to live with my parents being dead, and if i struggle as a young financially insecure person then fuck me i guess, that's life now.

it sucks being smart some times, you see reality for what it really is and can't ignore or delude yourself. it's no longer a question of if you get coronavirus, but when. get back in the fucking wagie cagie, slave, get the FUCK back in there. those machines aren't gonna run themselves and we don't care how many people die. how can i NOT be depressed in this scenario where i, where we, are all so helpless?

The EU is just a trade federation, remember that. Their dissolution wouldn't fuck Europe that badly, it would look weird for a couple years but they're perfectly capable of handling themselves.

People have ruminated on a Frexit or Italexit as they have growing nationalist movements and weakening economies. In a time of strife like this, if the Euro implodes and Brussels shows an inability to help out member states I can imagine one of them saying that's it, and then the whole house of cards tumbles. The EU can't afford to lose another major member economy.

like all the southern europeans owe the northern europeans money, so if they can wipe that debt and say 'fuck u' it's good for them in the short term. BUT the southern european countries don't really have functional economies; the best parts of their economies was tourism, which just got holed. meanwhile the northern european economies are more functional, but a lot of their income came from selling things to the southern europeans
so it seems like they all start to collapse, no matter whether they stay together or no.

Pretty much, but it's still a beneficial situation for Germany. They're a huge exporter, with a stake in the Euro that's similar to the US and the USD. At the end of the day countries can function perfectly well with their underlying domestic economies, it just won't be a shiny as the modern globalized super economy. The way the EU functions basically depresses certain states and uplifts others anyway, when you're independent you're in control of your own market and destiny.

But whether that's true or not, stock prices are ultimately driven by supply and demand. As long there are enough people (or computers) willing to buy up stocks at the current prices, they will stay at the current prices.

Well, firstly it's good to mention that more than half (15) of the Europeans are ahead of the US in testing despite drastically less spending in public health care per capita (however you adjust it). Generally most of them them also do have better health care systems than the us (if you measure on the level of the whole population, how good of an access the average person has to health care). Even fucking post CCCP Estonia has better health care on objective standards, without even adjusting for costs (which puts the US as the worst among OECD).

While southern countries are fucked, if you want to look at the total Eurozone, you need to look at total debt to GDP and the growth numbers in the whole Europe, not areal. EU 28 debt to gdp was 80.1% pre crisis. USA had it at 106.9%.

Italy is not gonna be kicked from the EU because of corona crisis, nor is Italy leaving because they depend on the EU. Generally, there will be problems for sure. But EU collapse would not fix any of them, vice versa probably.

It's mostly the people who were anti-EU already before the crisis, now circle jerking over the idea of EU collapse.

https://nypost.com/2020/03/17/coronavirus-doctor-says-lung-scans-for-young-patients-were-nothing-short-of-terrifying/
https://www.webmd.com/lung/what-does-covid-do-to-your-lungs#2
>When COVID-19 reaches the lungs, their mucous membranes — which line the various body cavities and air tracts — become inflamed. According to the NHS, this inflammation can then cause ARDS, whereby "fluid from nearby blood vessels to leak into the tiny air sacs in your lungs, making breathing increasingly difficult."
>Though the lungs of coronavirus survivors could return to "apparently normal" after six months with minimal issues — like a weakened ability to exercise — those who go on to develop ARDS could "take as long as 15 years for their lungs to recover," the FICM said, according to The Sunday Times.
>Earlier this month the Hong Kong Hospital Authority also found that two to three people out of a group of 12 recovered coronavirus patients were left with a drop in 20% to 30% in lung function. The authority added, however, that they could do cardiovascular exercises to slowly improve their lung capacity over time.
From the Belgian doctor:
>Dr. Ignace Demeyer, who works at a hospital in Aalst, said an increasing number of people between the ages of 30 and 50 have presented with severe symptoms, despite having “blank medical records” that show no underlying conditions that would make them high-risk, the Brussels Times reported.
>He said CT scans indicated they were suffering from severe lung damage.

What's so great about NIO? Why aren't they just another TSLA scam

>> No.18394922

Its going to be like black lung for coal miners, but on a global scale. The various medical systems of the world will be dealing with this for years.
Remember the "Do you or a loved one have mesothelioma? You may be entitled blah blah". Get ready to see that but for "lung damage from Corona virus?" and people suing the shit out of their places of work that forced them to work during the epidemic.
I'm a Ameriburger, and I voted for Trump last time around, but if there's any good example for why we need an overhauled healthcare system, this is it. Even better, Yang was my favorite Dem candidate, and now we've got Trump bucks (a one time UBI) because when everyone is out of a job at the same time the system can't handle it.
I hope we see some sort of additional help for the average person in the future, or else you're going to see many months of low spending on things, because people who recently lost their jobs are just barely getting by (and making up payments for their deferred payments on mortgages or rent).

It's not scarring. It's from inflammation and it goes away, as your source says. Scar tissue doesn't resolve. While ARDS patients take a long time to recover (that means you went to the ICU) for the vast majority (99+% of 30 year olds) the lungs are never damaged to begin with and for those who are they are fully healed within a few weeks.

VC dump money on almost every FOMO meme, that's not an indicator of anything at all except that you should be watching the latest FOMO'd market segment, but that goes with any other source, not just VCs. Look at AI companies: how many ever went so far as to go public? Maybe 1 or 2. How many got VC funding in the past year alone? Probably north of 20000. Do the 2 who went public have good quality stocks? Nope. What's the general strategy of VC-billion'd AI companies? Get purchased before money runs out by spending into the ground. #YOLO.

No, there's buyers and sellers and the first wave of sellers has ran out. There's more buying pressure right now, but overall there are more bears than bulls at the moment. It's the combination of Fed manipulation, shorts covering, and just enough buyers (over sellers) that's leading to this rally. You'll notice volume is much diminished since March, many are waiting on the sidelines without a stake and those people are technically bears since they don't think a turnaround is in the works yet.

Stocktwits. Unironically. There are a few very compentent people there who are willing to help noobs. You have to sort through all the plebs there.
>what should i study?
Pharmacy, biochemistry, all the biotech bureaucracy ( how does drug development work, from IND filings to pdufa and fda meetings and the usual stock market responses to those events). All types of sec filings. All the funds and institutes that are operating in that sector and what usually happens to the chart after they buy in. Sabby for example is a scam institute. They pump and short.
>what should I keep in mind when investing in them?
That you aren't investing. Biotech is trading. When you look at the longterm charts you see that they all tend to go down. They almost decay like options. Market cap usually keeps its range though. Avoid offerings, only buy after they happened (preferably below offering price). Look at cash and cash burn for this.
Events/catalysts are key. Most biotechs don't move without an event in the near future but most tend to run up towards catalysts.
Info leaks. Check short interest and borrow availability as events come closer.

You are a moron. Your earlier post said a bunch of stupid stuff like "no dividend," "falling income." Those are totally inappropriate criteria to evaluate a company like SNSS.

kek, maybe I'm slightly mad, obsessed with making a fat wad of green, etc. but you know what? even with all that in eleven years i'm gonna hit my "company" retirement mark baby and my ass is outta there. thanks to the retirement formula and regulations i'll be 48 years of age and if my sick time keeps on rolling up as it has been i may be able to knock it down to 10 years instead. so 47 - 48 and retired w/the only debt the house, pulling down a pension check with a 401k,brokerage,and some cash in the bank. glorious ain't it. be doing what I'm doing right now thanks to the virus; sitting on my ass and getting paid for it. don't fret none; i've got a nice back deck to relax on during the summer months plus a fridge to keep some drinks nice and cold for me.
