I'm trying to decide in a trading platform to begin trading for the first time

What would you guys recommend?

I'd like to use my own bank (USAA), but unfortunately I'm reading bad reviews.

TDAmeritrade seems to have pretty good reviews.

What do.

You never mentioned what you plan on trading. Most brokers will do stocks, options, and futures, but you'll see that sometimes their platform is geared towards a certain instrument. Secondly, how much money are you going to use?
