We're entering a new depression or at the very least recession. Even my boomer Dad is saying it's retarded how the markets are behaving right now

and no burger is going to let the corporations turn merica into fucking china with the pollution. One of the reasons it was all off-shored to begin with. There is also the costs involved. No burger is gonna want to pay 3-5 times more for everything cos it is made domestically. No burger will be able to afford to.

Not going to happen, even the mexicans have comfy life on gibs now.
The burgers would be competing with Chinese who work double shifts for pennies.
It's not doable, unless you think people would want to pay $4000 for an American-made phone.

Not even mentioning that US doesn't even have the technology anymore. Almost all electronics manufacturers are Chinese.

US will collapse during the next 18 months and won't exist in it's current form in 5 years time. The US population will shrink by 70%, the GDP will shrink by 75%.

Most US-based companies will move headquaters to China and Moscow.

Screencap this.

Why the fuck would it when it will be so much cheaper to produce in the states with automation? Why is biz so retarded in terms of long term thinking?

fuck you i will. gladly.
would be the best thing in the world for prices to finally reflect true actual value relative to real human cost, time and energy wise.
it would force a realistic revaluation on everything. and people would learn to only spend money on needed worthwhile things instead of constantly wasting paycheck after paycheck on an endless flow of cheap disposable garbage from china and worthless whorshipping sports celebrity pro sports entertainment crap

Doubt more then like 15% of companies that produce overseas are in the position at the moment to make the full shift to complete automation. And even if most did, that's not exactly a thing for us, the common man, to celebrate. That will only bring prosperity to the super rich.

I don't think so, however there will most likely be more of a push to automated manufatcuring esspecialy with more afvanced systems using 3D printing. I also think that a lot of stuff will be moving out of china and to other places like vietnam, but overall there won't be much of a change

was referring to the presumption that automation is far enough advanced yet to make that many humans obsolete by automating all the jobs with robot machines, comp tech, AI programming
i just dont think increased automation is going to happen that completely that fast across all industries and manufacturing.
i mean yeah, it is increasing and we have the tech, but its gonna take a few generations to get to the scale and saturation eluded to in the previous post i replied to
