I didnt buy silver on March 16, I assumed the price would drop further as the consequences of the pandemic would increase. Then it got back up, thinking to myself this is where a lot of opportunists start buying. I thought it was only inevitable that the price would go down even more than March 16 during the pandemic as the worst it yet to come.

For example I could buy 50 kangaroos or american eagles, for the same weight at a 75 euro price difference. Then the question is, would I throw away 75 euro for a nice looking coin? Yes, but aesthetics isn't the reason I'm interested in silver. So, logic rules that I go for stinky maples, and not shiny eagle jews.

Been in silver for 15 years, havent made much on it.
I just made a little recently by taking a small leveraged position at 12 and exited yesterday at 14.9

I am going to move big into silver when it makes a higher high. That would be 19 dollar today.
but it might not see 19 just peak at 17 go down again, not see 17 again peak at 16 and go down again not see 15 but peak at 13 and go down again...

I posted this in the other silver thread but I think you fucks would enjoy this too.

I've been buying Cull silver coinage in bulk like pic related and then sell it and other US coinage/collectibles in “grab bags” on eBay and Amazon.

I can stuff each $50 bag with $25 worth of product and people will still come back for more. Time after time. It’s honestly ridiculous.

Basically, I buy old silver coins in bulk at cull rates, then search the bag for anything valuable, take anything of XF/AU quality out and sleeve it, and then pack the rest in grab bags.

Pic related still all needs to be packed. Everything else I have is in bags like the one in pic related to the right of the coins.
All of that said, if anyone knows local dealers that have a lot of junk silver they can't sell I WILL BUY IT.

Jewed hard.
.715 is the constant for a junk silver dollar to ozt calculation.

Since $2.50 FV is known, multiply by the junk constant above:
2.50 * .715 = 1.7875

Thus, you bought 1.7875ozt of silver for $40

We can then calculate your ouce cost by dividing what you paid for the weight you received:
40 / 1.7875 = 22.377622

We then round the result to find out what you paid: $22.38 an ounce.

Those kinds of premiums on junk/Constitutional silver is outrageous.

if anything we should be looking more at coppers future. We used tens of thousands of tonnes of copper a year, about half of that is recycled from old tech or infrastructure, however we're going to be needing more and more copper for "green" energy projects and consumer goods, but only 14 new mines have opened to meet demand. I don’t know about you all... but because of Corona this is the first time since college that I’ve felt alive. I have lots of silver and been waiting for something like this to happen for 5 years. The point where things get so bad that 1 silver Merc dime will buy me a blowjob from a formerly well to do housewife and her 18 year old daughter at the same time. I’ve been waiting in the shadows laughing at these cuck husbands who buy their wives range rovers instead of buying silver bullion... knowing that I’ll be face fucking their wives mouths for the 1.30$ it cost me to buy that silver dime.

Just yesterday at Whole Foods I seamlessly entered into conversation about Corona with a roastie milf that had a ring on her finger in the water aisle... and I said this is all a cover for trump to bring us back on a gold standard. She started looking at me in amazement like she wanted me to paint her lips in cum. The premiums on small-fry gold are ridiculous, so only buy when you can afford at least whole ounce coins. At least. 1/4 and 1/10ths are fucking expensive.

Basically if you are the kind of person who can buy 1oz gold coins freely just do it man, if you don't stick with silver in ounces or better yet, bars of 100g or even 1kg.

The bigger the amount you buy the closer to spot especially in times like these. The only drawback is that you can't change a small amount of it at once, so my suggestion is to buy a 1kg bar to store value but also get a bunch of 1oz coins in case you want to sell some back or if we go full Mad Max or whatever.

What's wrong with Paper Gold and Paper Silver outside of total economic collapse? Royal Canadian Mint isn't going to bankrupt. May as well pick some up. In the case the Gold in unencumbered vaults start being called the price of gold will just skyrocket to accommodate for the discrepancy between paper gold held and physical gold stored.

Unless we're in apocalypse scenario I don't see any problems. But even then I'd rather have ammo.

there becomes a shortage, and so the price per ounce rises to fix the ratio of paper to physical. I.e. If there are 5 paper ounces per 1 physical ounce, the price of 1 ounce gets multiplied 5 fold to equalise the ratio. Everybody wins, so long as the world doesn't collapse. Physical holders benefit from the balancing and appreciation from spot price rising. Paper holders benefit from spot price rising. Of course it's better to be a physical holder here, but don't act like paper holders get completely screwed. Places like Royal canadian mint are crown corps anyway so I expect the gov't to bail them out if shit hits the fan. And if we get to an apocalypse scenario, i'd rather have food and ammo.

What am I looking at here? Gold, Silver, Copper coins? Silver in the baggies?

Yea copper is aesthetically pleasing to me and very cheap. Silver grains 5 oz and 25 oz baggies. Can get .999 at almost spot and .925 at or below spot. I melt it and make stuff usually but not right now desu.

Thought so. How is stacking copper coins? I can only imagine the premium on those fuckers.

>Question for /PMG/
What percent should I convert my savings into PMs? I am at 30k in the bank and waiting on a 4kish buy into silver and gold coin for the first time. so just over 10% right now. Should I be going higher... go all in and not be a fiatfag?
